As I understand the creationist arguement; God created all creatures about 6000 years ago. Archeological evidence suggests that Dinosaurs existed as creatures who used to live in the past. So man must have coexisted with dinosaurs as he was created only a day or two after all the beasts of the field.
The bible goes on to say that Noah collected two of every animal and put them in the Arc to save them from the Great flood. Does that mean he had two Brontosaurus, two Stegarsauruses, two Tyrannosaurus Rexes along with his wife and 3 sons and their wives. If so he must have carried a lot of food to feed them, and good security to stop them feeding off him.
Maybe my logic, is failing can someone help?

Ok I am 25, not religious at all and just having a bad time at the moment. I am losing sleep and everything makes me think about death. No I am not thinking of killing myself, I am not meaning I think about it that way. I just keep constantly thinking why bother, why are we here, what is the point? I am probably lucky if I get another 50 years but then what? Where do I go other than in the ground? I cant force myself to believe in god but I dont know what to do. Its consuming me. Things I read, seeing old people, watching tv, everything makes me think about it. Please someone tell me that I am not the only one that feels like this? Tell me that I am not crazy. Give me some ideas on what to do...

Right i have been asked to do a powerpoint on reasons why people cant make it to a church home group. Can you think of any?

Do you just believe any thing that you read on the internet ?
Is the internet the main source of your religious information ?
If yes , you are in a real fix . You can't understand any religion this way , many people here posted many site adresses about Islam and what I read really shocked me , faked stories , people introducing you to the religion from their own opinion and not from the base of facts and telling u that these are the facts

It seems a little hyppocritical to me that terrorists kill innocent people in the name of God (or Yahweh or Allah), even though the Bible, Torah & Koran teach that violence isn't the answer.

I know what it's like to be on the other end of the snobby think he/she's better than you Christian. It's very repulsive to think they think they don't sin and are high and mighty. But not all Christians are this way. Some realize we are all sinners. We are all God's creatures. God loves us all equally. Live and let live don't judge others. Though I may try to plant the seed that Jesus saves, I don't think I'm better then any one else. I care for everyone saved or not. I want to help everyone in a nonjudgemental way. I hope that everyone realizes that there are some good Christian out there who know that though we want to try to be like Jesus, we are far from it. Please don't judge us all on a lot of Christian attitudes you see around. God Bless!

For those of you who have doubts, or any objections; Whether you be atheistic, agnostic, or whatever. Do you feel any guilt in ridiculing the "faithful children of God" in their absurdities and ridiculous statements?

I for one do. I think it to be a great irresponsibility for us to take away from these people their faith, and to instill doubts in their beliefs. Suppose that they were right, but you as an intellectual, skeptic, etc.. have taken their salvation away from them. On a more practical level, most of these religious freaks live blissfully in their ignorance. Why would we take that away from them?

The old cliche comes to mind: "misery loves company".

Unfortunately I do not agree with it; If I'm miserable and your happy. I am glad for your good fortune and I do not wish my misery on you.

Perhaps I ask these questions and try to thwart the unREASONable people because. I am skeptical about my own beliefs.

What are your opinions?

When a Christian get a Muslim to convert into their religion, they get high comission, lots of money. These mormons or any ordinary Christians tend to get more money.

This is very unfair. Some of them forcing others to join their religion. Please stop it, it shows that Christians really hate Islam.

I noticed an answer on a Q about 'Do you celebrate Halloween?'

I don't celebrate halloween, It is not only a pagan holiday, but it is also the devil's holiday. Babies all over the world are sacrificed to satan on halloween. It's aweful.

Where do they teach these people this crap?
Does it make you feel mad or pity?
