The bible says adam and eve were the first humans.Were they cave men and did they roam with dinosaurs,etc?

They didn't need a cave, because it never rained. The earth was a constant comfortable temperature. Adam named all of the animals, and whatever he called them is what they were. The animals had no reason to be afraid of Adam & Eve and they had no reason to fear the animals. They all lived in harmony, until Satan enticed Eve to sin and she in turn conviced Adam to do likewise. Then sin and death entered into the world and God sacrificed one of His animals to provide coverings for Adam & Eve. Henceforth, animals would be sacrificed to cover the sins of man. Then Christ came and became the supreme sacrifice to cover the sins of man for all time.

The bible is ALLEGORY, it is not meant to be taken literally, it is meant to offer guidance. The word translated as "Adam" actually means mankind, not "a fellow called Adam".

Dinosaurs predated man by a long, long time. The only mammals that possibly co-existed with dinosaurs were some shrew-like critters.

It always amazes me that "Creationists" are willing to believe God could make the world and hide all those fossils (to "test their faith"), but they apparently don't have room in their worldview for a God smart enough to set evolution in motion. Go figure.

They were garden dwellers - not cave dwellers. Yes, they roamed with the dinosaur. They had many many children as they lived to be almost a thousand years old. This was before genes had become mutated, and were about perfect, so there was no problem then with brothers and sisters procreating. If it pleases you to think so. Don't get bogged down in the Torah. While much of it is beautiful and it's a definite artifact worth preserving within the Christian tradition, the whole thing is too closely bound up with the particularities of Judaism. Even without all the obscure Medieval 'pre-figurations' folks have found there, the Gospels re-write the way we're supposed to look at the world entirely. If you're going to read the Bible, take away with you what feels most important: there's no place for blind parrots in an intelligent society. You can't pick and choose with faith, but you shouldn't be a slave to text either. Paper is paper.

they were cavemen...that is why you don't find dinosaur bones along with human remains...just cause the bible says that the world was created in 7 days doens't nessaccerily mean that it was 7 Earth days. When god commanded the writing of the bible he may have used the phrase 7 days because it is hard to partition time while living in eternity and man could not grasp the concept of such an abstract idea.

Also in response to Adam and eve begat their two sons who begat more and blah blah blah...the bible doesn't say that god stopped creating people after adam and eve....they were just the first.

I am a TRUE CHRISTIAN, not one that just puts on a show, I have answered this question before, but I will do it again for you, I know many Christians don't believe in a prehistoric time period. I DO. IT IS ALL IN THE BIBLE, EVEN THE MISSING LINK. Sometimes we read the Bible & we don't really stop & realized what it is saying. One word can change the whole picture. Yes there was a Prehistoric time where there was cave men & women, that roam with the dinosaurs, But they were NOT SONS & DAUGHTERS OF GOD, & THEY DID NOT HAVE A SOUL. They were the most intelligent in their time frame. They walked upright. I am trying to establish a thought here for all Christains & who ever what to know the truth about Cave men & prehistoric time, & the missing link. Christians hold on to your hats, & listern. You may ask me why do I believe in a Preistoric world, We will see what the bible says. Let's go to Gen 9:1 We are looking at what God told Noah to do after the flood. Be Fruitful & multiply & REPLINISH the earth, Replinish means to fill it up AGAIN. Now we have established what God told Noah. Now turn to Gen.1:28 & lets see what God told Adam & Eve. 28: And God blessed them & GOD said unto them, Be Fruitful & multiply & REPLINISH the earth Why would God tell Adam & Eve to REPLINISH this earth if there was never anything on this earth before Adam & Eve. God told Adam & Eve to Fill Up AGAIN this earth but only with smaller animals. The Prehistoric time frame was the testing time for the angelic beings, & the animal kingdom, God saw that they were become more evil by killing each other So I can see God take this planet far enough away from the sun to cause The GREAT ICE AGE, therefore killing all life form, why has there been palm trees found in Siberia under layers of ice. This earth at one time had a perfect climate.Then as time went on & it could have been millions of years, I can see God begin to bring this earth back into a relationship with the sun, to begin to warm it up again to bring forth life. Now we come to Adam & Eve, Listern, They WERE SONS & DAUGHTERS OF GOD & ADAM & EVE HAD A SOUL. But the cave men was NOT a son of God & did not have a soul. So God told Adam & Eve to REPLINISH the earth again. Or to fill it up again, Now do you want to find that missing link, Look at that serpent, he was a upright Creature that God resurrected from the prehistoric time to be a worker for Adam & Eve, The serpent walked upright, Now he was not a snake on the ground BEFORE THE CURSE, Because you can read the Curse. in Gen. 3: 14 God told the serpent because thou has done this that thou are CURSED above all Creatures & from that day on, He will go upon his belly, there fore he lost his arms & legs, & then at the time God cursed the serpent, that is when he went into that reptile family. You can also read the curse to Eve how she will be greatly multiply her time to bare a off sping & to this day from the time Eve was cursed, No woman can know exactly what time she can concieve. & God told Adam That now he will have to work the ground from his sweat. Caves were also used as a place to bury the dead.

It in simple terms got here approximately genuine around a similar time civilization began. exciting... became by using their off spring we are here at present. We traced all females's genes to a minimum of one place in Africa. there is not any great mish mash of guy style. to not be rude, yet to many human beings come here to show the bible incorrect. Clean the Earth of foilage, then there were Carnivorus Dinosaurs
