Because homosexuals rule ! They are so powerful that they can do anything they want and if somebody says NO, then they scream DISCRIMINATION, RACISM, CHILD ABUSE, sexism, spousal abuse, etc, etc. They take you to trial and the judge says that you are all of the above, and makes you pay until you are as dry as a raisin.
In some church there is a homosexual bishop and that church allows it.

It looks that you don't watch the news. Homosexuals are making a lot of pressure to get married in churches, that is a fact. Perhaps the word was not properly chosen, but that is the idea

Who's forcing? Which churches?

As far as I know, the only churches where gay people can get married are the UCC and the Unitarian Church, and they do it because a majority of their members decided it was the right thing to do.

Thank God there are a few denominations where people can actually think.

They aren't. No church will marry two homosexuals if they don't believe in it. However there are plenty of churches that will, because they don't see a problem with it (a lot of Lutheran and Unitarian churches). Who gave you this erroneous information?

1) I'm pretty sure that no church has ever been forced to marry anyone, and that no couple would wish to be married in a church that refuses to accept them for who they are.

2) When my mother was married in the Catholic church 'way back in 1961, the priest wouldn't let her best friend be her maid of honor -- because her best friend was a Protestant.

I'm not inclined to sympathize with churchgoers who whine that "calling us intolerant is persecution." What goes around comes around, baby.

Exactly. Homosexuals can marry anywhere else except the church. I don't understand why they want to marry in a church when the church doesn't accept them. Respect the church marry on mars. There are a lot of other legal places to get marry.

Because churches are getting a free ride from the government. They pay no taxes. In exchange for that gift, the government expects churches to follow the laws of the land.

I agree with you, churches should be able to refuse to marry gays. And they should start paying property and income tax just like any other corporation.

churches are tax exempt and get funding from the government--the government doesn't allow discrimination. they should be forced to marry gays and if they do not then they should have to pay taxes and pay their own way--why do you believe that rules shouldn't apply to you? Oh yeah--You're a X-ian and therefore not responsible for anything you do. suck it

Churches that teach the true word of God and stands on that word will not falther and not part take in an abomination. Those who do, never did believe in the word of God. They need to worship God and not man. The need to practice what they teach, and not say "do as I say and not as I do".

Luke 6:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

Titus 1:16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

Romans 1:25-32 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

No church can be "forced" to allow homosexuals to marry. They do it only by compromising biblical principals.
