Dear icy, maybe I can help by explaining a little further, I owuld like us to look at Gods standard so we can see from Gods pointof veiw, because God has done something amazing for us. Here are a few questions........

Have you ever lied (even once--fibs, white lies, etc.)? this is a violation of the 9th commandment.

Ever stolen (anything--the value is irrelevant)? the BIble says no thief will enherit the Kingdopm of God.

Jesus said, "Whoever looks upon a woman to lust after her, has committed adultery already with her in his heart." Have you ever looked with lust?

Have you always put God first in your life? (Only Jesus has kept this commandment).

Have you ever hated someone? The Bible calls this murder of the heart.

Imagine yourself in a court of Law, should a Judge let a rapist go? ofcourse not. should he also pubnish murderers? thieves? The BIBle says he will punish those, but God is so Holy he will also Punish liars and fornicators ect. He even sees the thought life. Think about it, If a human Judge saw a man rape and murder a woman and that Judge never brought that Man to justice, he would be corrupt and need to be brought to Justice himself. Gods Holiness and Justice rises so far above ours that he even sees our thoughts. Just as a Judge would send a criminal to Jail, hell is a place of Punishment God has desigend for those who have broken his Law. If God Judged you by those ten Commandments, would you be innocent or guilty? the BIBle says if we have lied, stolen lookedwith lust ect, we would be guilty. the BIBle says the punishment for our sin is death and Hell, But God has done something wonrflly amazing for you. He sent His Son to take our punishment: "God commended His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." He was bruised for our iniquities. Jesus then rose from the dead and defeated death.
Your own so-called “goodness” can’t get you into heaven any more than mine could. Jesus is the only way to Heaven. He is the "Door," the only "mediator." There is salvation in no other name, so pray something like this: "Dear God, I repent of all of my sins (confess them). This day I put my trust in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. Please forgive me and grant me your gift of everlasting life. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen."

Mark 3:29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation

I'd be careful if I were you.

Completely the opposite. He loves you. However, the evildoers He will destroy one day. Sadistic? No. Just, yes.
