Muslim fanatics who happen to be female are told that once in heaven, they will become men, and also get their virgins.

how many times will you have to hear it before you believe? the 72 virgins thing is a myth. please show me the verse of quran which mentions 72 virgins.
in heaven, everyone gets whatever they desire.
ramadan ends when the next new moon is sighted. that is most likely to be about October 24, but will not be confirmed until an actual sighting.

the 72 virgins is promise to the one who dies martyr.
But that is not the best reward in heaven.
The best reward in heaven is when God unveils and reveal his "face" , u will see him as clear as u see the moon, according to he prophet s.a.w.
But the reward is not for anyone even one who has enter heaven.This reward is for the most pious and humblest in the "eye"of God.That is the one who is entitled to the highest level of heaven.And i sure hope i am one of them.
