Jesus forgives us in all things, but can we forgive ourselves? Isn't that what he wants for us? Happiness I believe can only be attained when we can forgive ourselves as well as others. The only reason we cannot forgive others is because we couldn't forgive ourselves if we did the same as them.

Jesus offers the more abundant life-millions have come to know him -delivered from fornication, and drugs-living higher and happier-that is a proof from millions of people-yet we become like our 'friends' but friends that draw you away from Jesus and the bible-u will see one day arnt true friends.

in our youth play-the person says to the devil-the devil doesnt exist-the devil says no, hell doesnt exist-the devil says no-and they die -and are going to hell and say-you said it doesnt exist-the devil said...

Jesus said satan, cometh to decieve destroy and kill, and is the father of lies. Whom will you believe??i choseJesus

When James said it was by people's own desires that they sin not because " the devil made them do it.". Im sure satan has better things to than tempt someone to go and steal that cookie.

Did Jesus have a choice to die for us, or did he have no choice in the matter?

That's a little egotistical don't you think.
I mean, I could be the nicest person in the world, give to the poor and love children, yet if I don't believe in him, I'm doomed.
That doesn't seem very noble to me. Shouldn't S/He just be happy if we're good people?

I'm not quite sure if I belive in God or not. But every now and again, if I feel like I've hit rock bottom and I'm desperate for help, I find myself praying. But since I don't really believe in God, will he just ignore me?

Jesus said fear not-do u have a threat bigger than Jesus-if so u got to get the real Jesus-he is omipotent-all powerfull-and though the rain falls on the just and the unjust-with Jesus heaven is our home, and we are just passing through.

In iraq and other places, believers in Jesus are being told they will be killed--my own Jewish mom said she would have a funeral for me if i let Jesus save me. I chose salvation in Jesus, and my mom retracted the words cause he made me a better person.

what is your life worth-what would u give to give up what u believe-when u know Jesus personally-he is your Messiah, savior and best friend---what would u do -kill yourself cause Jesus says once u let him in your heart-to forgive your sins and help you.

All the religious fanatics that post at Yahoo Answers are horrible spellers. Is it just me or has anyone else noticed this? It's like, in order to be the biggest fan of your own personal iconoclast supreme you have to give up the ability to spell or use that tiny little 'spell check' button.

I am not being a jerk or anything...I just don't understand this. Now I am going to ask this question in real simple and real basic terms just to save typing in a bunch of details that, to me, don't really seem pertinent.

So here goes...We've got God...in the Christian sense I mean...we are told that to get to Heaven we must believe and accept him. We are also told that there is Heaven and Hell. Heaven is good and glorious and all that stuff while Hell is an eternity of fire and pain and suffering. Basically right so far? So here's my question...you either do the God thing to get into Heaven or...you suffer in Hell. Basically it's a liittle bit of "my way or else..." You accept God or you spend the rest of your forever suffering. Question time...How does that not qualify as a vengeful God? He's not supposed to be vengeful right? I don't get it.

Here in Ireland I know so many kind, good and pious Christians of all sects, yet here in cyberspace Christianity presents a different face. Christian history is stained with blood and violence, and this is simply a fact. Yet it would seem that according to Christians the violence is only the work of the Other; in this case Muslims etc. When will the plank be pulled from their own eyes? Jewish history is filled with the hatred, sick, twisted and vicious menace of Christianity. Please explain why this religion of 'love' is so soacked in blood?

The symbol of the Christian faith, is it not a symbol of human torture and the sign of the Assyrian g-d Taimut?

This question is in no manner an insult to reasonable Christianity, a faith (in its better embodiments) that is a beacon to the world.

I consider myself a theist because I believe in a single unifyling force that conncts all creation and I choose to call that force God/dess. However, I do not believe that this is a "supernatural entity." I suspect that someday science will identify the thing we now call "God." I believe God loves us in that way we love our own cells. i mean, we want them to keep going, we know they are what we are made of, but we kill 'em by the thousnads - scratching an itch, drinking a few too many at the office Christmas party, or taking antivirals or chemotherapy. Sometimes you sacrifice the few for the sake of the many, y'know?

So am I technically an atheist, since I don't believe in a supernatural prayer-answering, saviour-sending sky-daddy?

For all you homosexual "Christians" who say that God will forgive you and that you can go on living the way that you choose (that's right, I said choose) to live and still go to heaven, have you read the parts of the Bible where it says (and rather directly so) what God has to say about sexual immorality? You might want to look into that, after all we only live maybe (maybe) around 100 years here at the very most compared to the eternity that we will spend either in Heaven or Hell. I realize people have to make thier own decisions, but eternity is an overwhelmingly long time to have to spend regretting mistakes, and I wouldn't want that for anyone.

I have a wonderful christian family who loves me and although I am not a christian I love them very much as well. For that matter I love all christians, buddhists, jews, muslims, pagans, everyone. I appreciate it when a christian tells me they love me. That is a very nice thing to say.
Now for my question. as a christian would you follow the rule of "thou shalt not suffer a witch to live" or would you pray for me to change my mind so you wouldn't have to kill me. Or would you befriend me and enjoy my company?
Your Jesus spent time with the greatest "sinners" would you not do the same. Or has christianity made you better than that?
Would I have to believe as you did to even talk to you. Have you suddenly become royalty too high for anyone "below you".

well loose sex gets u a bad reputation, social diseases, sadly throw away babies, or moms who have babies and no husband, and worse -horror stories.

well weed gets you jail time, lies to get it, supports the mob, and wacks ur brain-till u would try and defend it.

Jesus gets u a new life-cause i did it all and since i got saved by the precious blood atonement (at one ment) of Jesus i have joy beyond words and peace in my heart like i never had before-when pleasure, and other things were my god.

Jesus said, except ye repent and be born again, ye cannot see the kingdom of heaven.

do u think Jesus is an idot -came from heaven as promised to die for your and my sins-to offer to come into our life so we can be born again???

Revelation 3 vs 19&20 Jesus in his love and grace states Behold, i stand at your heart door and knock, if you let me in to deliver you from sin, i will become your best friend."

i prayed-will you- Jesus im sorry for my sins, come into my heart and helpMe

I mean have you all ever thought that it is an ART or my favorite, a way to keep myself out of trouble and get out my destructive behavior. i believe it is the spirit that gives me my power and it is through Him he gives me the ability to fight and the unsaved ppl in this sport see it.Give me your opinion I wanna know. Cause it seems every time I say I fight people judge me I know God gave me the gift to fight and I just want to have christians who support that

A fellow catholic and I were discussing a hindu woman that asked if i wanted to get together.
I think I'm too old (35, divorced, no kids) to just "date" for fun, so I said no.
I couldn't ever imagine giving up my faith, so I turned her down.
Do you think this was right or wrong?

If you are a Muslim, how do you know that your religion is better than all of the other religions out there? What makes it the one and only truth? How is yours the perfect, and only one without any flaws of any kind?
Also, your entire religion is based from one mere man's teachings and anything that this one human being says must be true, so how can this one man be true against every apostle in the whole new testament put together? If Christians think that the apostles were divinely inspired, and you think that Mohammed was, what is there to show one wrong and the other right?

And because of the answers that I got from my last question, I must make it very clear to you that:

This is not a rebuke against Islam!
This is not Trying to prove any other religions!
This is not an attack on anyone in any way!
I am curious about their beliefs of how this is the truth and mine is not.

So don't be an idiot please.
