The Bible says, "He also told them this parable: "Can a blind man lead a blind man? Will they not both fall into a pit? A student is not above his teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like his teacher." (Luke 6:39-40).

What this means is that those who teach the wrong message are setting others up for failure.

In Matthew Chapter 15, Jesus said this:

(11) Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man. (12) Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying? (13) But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up. (14) Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

If someone is arrogant, believing they alone understand the things of God, then they will stumble at the truth. If left alone, they will eventually lead each other into a place where they will disturb nobody.

God sent His Holy Spirit to lead us into all truth, and if we err, the conviction of that Holy Spirit will enable us to stand correction. If we reject the leading of the Holy Spirit, then we do not have God's light to illuminate our path, and we will fall.

well im pretty sure in my understanding that a man that cant see wats right or wrong, leading a person who doesnt see wats right or wrong, will both fall in a trap of the devil. If u have a piec of glass in ur eye amd ur brother has a piece of wood in his eye, and u say: "Here bro, let me take it off from u first" ur wrong!!! u must first take the piece of glass from UR eye so that u can see wat ur brother has clearly. then u would bnoth see and not fall.
