For all you homosexual "Christians" who say that God will forgive you and that you can go on living the way that you choose (that's right, I said choose) to live and still go to heaven, have you read the parts of the Bible where it says (and rather directly so) what God has to say about sexual immorality? You might want to look into that, after all we only live maybe (maybe) around 100 years here at the very most compared to the eternity that we will spend either in Heaven or Hell. I realize people have to make thier own decisions, but eternity is an overwhelmingly long time to have to spend regretting mistakes, and I wouldn't want that for anyone.

As a Christian I oppose homosexuality, but I wasn't trying to single out homosexuality as being worse than any other sin because the same Bible that you are criticizing also says that all sin is the same in God's eyes. I was only "picking on" homosexuality because homosexuals cannot procreate without depending on the assistance of a member of the opposite sex. So yes, as a God fearing Christian I do oppose homosexuality, but I asked this question because it doesn't make sense to me that God would be supportive of homosexuals but not create a way for them to procreate by themselves. You can make whatever you want of it, but that's where I'm coming from.

I wrote an essay on why homosexuality doesnt make sense. Here is an excerpt:
If evolution is true, homosexuality would be counterproductive. If homosexuality were a normal genetic trait, then evolution is moving in a terrible direction. Since homosexuals are unable to reproduce, the worldwide births would decrease dramatically as homosexuality increased. And eventually, if homosexuality were to be the dominant sexual orientation around the world, the human race would be in danger of extinction. That is, of course, unless the homosexual persons were forced to use egg and sperm donations in order to keep the species going. However, that would again be mimicking the act of heterosexual behavior in order to achieve the desired result. When you find yourself in an unnatural activity and forced to do something completely natural in order to survive, hopefully that will be the realization that something is not right.

Well, First And For Most, Im With You On That! Regardless, The Bible Was Altered (by humans)To Be 'Racist' Against Various Things In 'Their' Society(women with power/the son of god being colored, etc.), Homosexuality Especially(they had a reason for this one though....). I Believe It's Wrong To Be Homosexual Because Nothing Positive Comes Out Of It, Just Lust. I Understand It's A Lifestyle Decision That Turns Into A Personal Belief For Them To Be Gay, But Regardless, It Just Doesn't Set A Good Example For Society. If All Men Were Gay, And Women Lesbians, How The Heck Would We Exist?!?! Just By Recognizing This Fact, You Should Know It's Wrong! But Hey, We All Sin. I Sure As Hell Ain't Gay, But I Ain't Perfect Either. It's Just A Matter Of Being Willing To Repent For What You Believe Is Wrong In The End....

If you think that homosexuality is wrong due to religious reasons in the Old Testament then how about the following.
Selling your daughter into slavery (Exodus 21:7 says it is OK)
Killing people who work on Sundys (Exodus 35:2)
Burning your mother for wearing clothes of mixed fabric
Stoning your brother to death for planting crops of the same type together
or a million other examples.
These are rules for an army in a desert which is what the Israelites were in Exodus and irrelevant to 20th Century life. Stick to love they neighbour (gay or not) and I believe in the one God whose Son came down from heavan, died and rose again to same my sins.
I would like to take credit for the bible references but they can be seen at the website below

Look you simple minded people. If you honestly believe that the being that created everything that can be seen has laid down all the laws of living in one book, then do so without talking to the rest of us. If you live by the law -- you don't know Christ. God didn't give me wings but I fly. God may or may not have made me gay. Did I choose it. Don't know, don't care. If I had to choose, I would choose to be what I am now.
Those who think it's a choice don't really understand it. Can't you people just trust us ?

No God did not accept homosexuals and homosexuality.God in holy Qur'an clearly spoke that homosexuality is very hated. In the era of Luth prophet there were many momosexuality between man and man and between woman and women (lesbian).God punished them by created earth quakes and storms. They were died instantly.(see Surah 7 Al aA'raaf (highest place).God has created soimeone as a man or as a woman,he/she should accept it as a God'decree. It is against with His decree if a man be like a woman or its opposite a woman like a man.He/she will have a big sin.God created a man without a womb.If a man was given also a womb this earth will be un orderly.A momosexual makers will be the inhabitant of hell.

I have to laugh every time I read that homosexuals have A LIFESTYLE. Not all gay people are alike.. some are pastors, some are bar hoppers, some are police officers, parents... teachers. It's like saying there is a Heterosexual lifestyle, just plain silly. As for what the BIBLE says... do more research and open your mind to the idea that God had continuously provided 'more light' to our understanding of faith... outlawing slavery would be one example. www.mccchurches.org

So, your question is rhetorical. And you answered it yourself. However, I agree with you ... whether homosexuals are born that way or not, they choose to live that lifestyle and engage in sexual acts that God tells us in the Bible are sins. But, we all fall short of God's glory. That's why Jesus died for our sins. Only God can judge whether any of us are truly repentant. If we confess our sins, we should certainly try to live in such a way that we do not commit the same sins again. Ye who are without sin, cast the first stone. Judge not, lest ye be judge.

Have you also read the parts of the Bible where men laid with their daughters, women were forced into near slavery, and animals were sacrificed on bloody altars to appease an angry God? We can't pick and choose which of the Old Testament laws we want to follow.
The New Testament does not mention anything about homosexuality, and I choose to believe that if there is a God, he or she won't automatically condemn a person just because they are attracted to the same sex.
If God loves us and considers us his children, then, like a father, he will love us no matter what we do, and given the choice of forgiving us (as long as we have an earnest heart) or condemning us to hell, then he will most surely forgive us.
That's just my opinion, anyways!

As a heterosexual Christian, I just have to ask: Do you think Jesus would display such hostility toward this one issue? Why would He focus on this one sin, and say, not get just as angry over people that abuse alcohol? They're both sins. We're not given a measurement for sin. All sins are contrary actions to God's intentions. We all continue to sin even after receiving God's grace.
Also, I'm pretty sure you're not pointing anything new out to them. Most likely they're struggling with this issue to a far greater extent than you will ever struggle with your sins.
You've tried to call them out on this issue. What can we call you out on my friend? Or should I say, are you so without sin that you can throw the first stone?
Another good one is: you've seen the speck in your brother's eye, have you missed a plank in your own?
