I have a wonderful christian family who loves me and although I am not a christian I love them very much as well. For that matter I love all christians, buddhists, jews, muslims, pagans, everyone. I appreciate it when a christian tells me they love me. That is a very nice thing to say.
Now for my question. as a christian would you follow the rule of "thou shalt not suffer a witch to live" or would you pray for me to change my mind so you wouldn't have to kill me. Or would you befriend me and enjoy my company?
Your Jesus spent time with the greatest "sinners" would you not do the same. Or has christianity made you better than that?
Would I have to believe as you did to even talk to you. Have you suddenly become royalty too high for anyone "below you".

As a Pagan I find it interesting how few Christians I meet who hate witchcraft haven't even read Exodus 22:18. I would assume their hatred stems from that passage. Maybe there is a deeper issue. Anyway, it never does anyone any good to hold someone else's beliefs against them. It's counterproductive. Blessed be.

I would certainly pray for you. I do love you and want you to spend eternity in heaven with our LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ. What you practice is a false religion, created by humans. There is only one God. There are no goddesses. I think that if true, good, loving Christians befriended you ... as Jesus certainly would have ... you would see that He is the Way, the truth and the life and the only way to heaven. I pray that you will turn to Christ. I do not think that I am above you in any way. For we are all sinners and fall short of God's glory. May you find life and blessings in our LORD, Jesus Christ.

I would never shun someone based on their religion. If you're a nice person, we'll be friends.

Although I have to warn you, we high-functioning autistics can seem a bit anti-social at times...

I'm Lutheran, and in just my immediate family we have quite a few other religions/beliefs represented: Catholic, Atheist, Agnostic, Wicca, Baha'i, Episcopal, Baptist, and Buddhist. We all get along just fine because no one takes on an "I must convert thee" attitude at Thanksgiving dinner.

Later!

Funny u should ask this....I was just in this situation with a co worker. She had told a couple of "christian" co workers she was a witch. Instead of witnessing to her they turned against her. seems like they thought she was "beneath" them ... but I talked to her and with her....I am a christian and I explained to her that her gift (she has a great discernment of the spirit gift) is actually a gift from God, (gifts are explained in the NT). I dont judge anyone and who am I to condemn, I am a sinner myself...my motto has always been cast the first stone, when u hit the holier than thou christians with that one then they like the ones Jesus spoke that too, they have nothing to say. When I talked to her, it was not to "persuade" her to my beliefs but to give me the opportunity to tell her what He has done for me!!! and to extend His love to her. I will be talking to her more and be available anytime she needs a friend....

I am a Wiccan witch and all most Christians will do is pray for you or call you a devil worshipper. I am friends with many very devout Christians and they have pretty much decided I am a lost cause lol. Blessed be.

Im a Catholic. One of my best friends is buddhist. And alot of my other friends are protestants. I would never befriend someone who would lead me away from my fatih. However, often times this has included fellow "Catholics" who were not living up to their name. So as for befriending you, so logn as you would not lead me from my faith I would befriend you, but as my faith and your practices are so opposed to one another I have to imagine how impossible that might be.

As for the killing you thing, Jesus told us not to kill anyone. He also todl us to forgive others. And as a Christian I love everyone and this includes you.
Likewise, as a Christian I msut warn you against witchcraft. Its dangerous to practice this, not only can it be physically dangerous, it is spiritually disasterous. You should not meddle with the devil. Adn while you might insist it isnt the devil and it is just positive or negative "forces" or "energy". I assure you its the devil himself.
But I will most certainly pray for you.

God Bless
Shane

I am a Christian, and I would absolutely accept you. People who use Christianity to lord over others have missed the point of their faith entirely. To be a Christian is to be a servant of your fellow man, not to be served by them.

I'm wondering where in the Bible it says "Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live." I've never read that before. (Of course, I haven't read the whole Bible, either.)
