That the pope would criticize the Muslim religion for being filled with hatred and intolerance, when one only has to look as far as the Old Testament to find as much murderous intent, hatred and intolerance? Or that 300 years ago, the Christian church was the number one purveyor of conversions by the sword...

anyone can write a book and say this book is the truth and anyone who says other wise is a liar,

they got a name for that,
they call it a cult

If you ask me, there seems to be alot of similarity between the two. Both were jews, and both condemned jews to either eternity in hell, for jesus, or hell in prison camps, for hitler.

I'm a Christian and i feel like its ok but there are so many churches preaching about the way you dress and a bunch of other stuff don't you think God is looking at the heart and is more interested at who we are in the inside not the outside??

there is no walmart here no malls i dont have the money to move away. i went to te big city one last week with my mother grandmother i gave out gospel tracts there . when i got back here i got so depressed . i dont te money to get a car either i 36 of age ok. why did i get so so depressed for again. i go to a city comeback here i fell so bad . why is that?

there's this girl who always says that here and calls every other religion a cult?!!

what does that even mean? "jesus is lord here in the US" what about the Jews? they dont believe jesus is lord!! what about muslims? they dont think jesus is lord!! what about pagans, Atheists, hindus, buddhists and all the others they dont think jesus is lord!!!

even christians themselves seem confused, some believe in the trinity some dont, some believe he's god, some believe he's the son of god.

what exactly does she mean when she says "jesus is lord here in the US" ???

many people seem to agree with her too.

Do you think Matthew 15: 8-9 applys to the man made traditions of men like the Christmas traditions which stsrted in ancient Babylon or the Easter tradition whch also started in anciect Bablyon ? It seems like many of us have picked and chosen which sins we've decided are more egregious than others. I see people in this forum condemning homosexuals with various tirades about their particular lifestyles being sinful. Do you think they really didn't already know that? Don't we all continue to fall short? And how is their falling short any worse than our falling short?

When the woman caught in adultery was taken before Jesus did He get in her face and declare how big of a sinner she was? He did not. He saved her from certain death and then told her to sin no more. Do you think He actually believed that she would sin no more? In His own words He said we would continue to fall short even after receiving grace. So why do we meet sinners with such hostility? Do you think He would do the same? He ate and hung out with sinners regularly because He claimed that they were the ones He came for. He treated them with love and saved them with it. We are the students, not the teacher.
