Oh, hell, the Muslim world is outraged yet AGAIN?! Pardon me while I roll my eyes and yawn. Let's see...The Christians had to endure "piss christ" and a statue of the Virgin Mary made out of Manure. That was 'art' around here. Jewish people are mocked by every comedy show and in national media all of the time and no one cares. So everyone suffers for faith but Islam alone is untouchable? Muslims can't tolerate a single comment by an old man? A silly drawing in a newspaper warrants KILLING PEOPLE? The amount of outrage is disproportionate to the offense. You'd think an allmighty God could overlook it or take care of it on his own. *sigh* I paraphrase Nietzche "He who says: 'All who are not with me are against me' will soon find everyone against him.". My answer: This will last FOREVER.

It will last as long as it serves the purpose of the Muslim clerics. In general, it is the clerics that spur their followers into violent frenzies and then direct and steer the demonstrations into protests against America. The truth is twisted into a means to further their twisted views.
The irony is that the Pope's speech was aimed at pointing out that God and religion would not support violence against people that do not believe, yet the Islamic reaction is a violent one with some extremists calling for killing non-believers. Some subset of Muslims demonstrate their violent nature that practically fullfills the passage the Pope quoted from, and their barbaric nature is once again exposed.
Sometimes I wonder why it is that there is not a similar phenomenon in Christianity? You do not see hordes of American Christians burning effigies of the Ayatollah, or fire-bombing mosques, or protesting violently whenever the Islamic world accuses America of being the "Great Satan". Perhaps we should?! Perhaps we need to have our own Jihadists? Or perhaps we are just better than that because our religious beliefs are more peaceful? Whatever the reason, sometimes I feel like we need to use some of our nukes in order to show these barbarians of the world what real evil and barbaric acts are like. We are accused of this already, might as well live up to the accusations.

I don't know. I hope they settle down soon. People persecute Christians all the time (like Rosie O'Donnell's statement on The View), but do we go on killing-sprees? No......we protest with phone calls, emails, and letters to ABC.
I'm not Catholic, and I do believe that Catholicism is a false religion, but I don't think the Pope did anything wrong this time. I'm glad that so far he's only apologized for upsetting the Muslims, but hasn't apologized for the actual quote.

Muslims have never had the foot hold they have today.
They believe it is their time to take over the world.
Can you think of a time when France would have bowed to their whims? Or the Netherlands? Never has the pope apologized for freedom of speech. Not even Hitler challenged the pope.
Lied to him but never challenged him.
When did the governments look the other way as millions are being slaughtered in Africa. Never would they have allowed 30,000 Children to be kidnapped and used as sex slaves.
Everyone including the pope has bowed to their whims.
Never thought I would see that! As there armies march across Africa and they are taking it over. They don't want them to convert, they are murdering them. Not even in a nice way. They are chopping them up literally. Even the USA when they bombed the World Trade Towers they sent over an army to protect them and give them a democratic government.
They have decided it is time and god is with them to take over the world. They will not stop the killing, the demonstrating or the fighting until one side or the other dies.

What a mystery. Islamic peace= everyone believes in Islam. Urban's comment, have you seen what folks think of Catholics? Chick zines, pupits that spread lies and outright hate and misinformation. I haven't gone on a murder spree or declared holy war against anti-Catholics. My religion does not require it actually speaks against those actions. Fundamentalists of any ilk miss the big picture and killing to force faith is evil (Catholics aren't fundamentalists by the way)

Till the POPE apologise.. and its the same if the muslim or other religion leader speaks in public or maybe infront of POPE telling him Catholic Loves kiiling People And Catholic is an Evil religion which practise SATAN as God... how would you feel ?? and the rest of Catholic in the world.....
