Isn't it a little odd that the affirmation of your grandmother would come after she has been dead for years? I would be more inclined to see a supernatural influence if it had been your uncle's name. And if it had been written in the clouds. Or on the inside of a burrito. Or maybe spelled out by birds flying backwards.

Only coincidence. Why should God be sending you a message? What for?

There are a lot of phenomena in our everyday life that we can interpret in a variety of ways, according to our interests. With a little wishful thinking, everything can mean about anything. You shouldn't be carried away by that kind of stuff.

as my late grandma always says - the Lord works in mysterious ways.

ya know it really doesn't matter what any of us here think. do you make it a habit of reading liscence plates? if not & if you saw the initials and such AND it gave you a sense that God was with you sharing -- then who are we to contradict that feeling. i've had dreams in similar fashion - about dead loved ones -- God gives us what we need, when we need it -- it's not ours to question, but rather to accept.

Coincidence is too convenient. I believe in God. Coincidence would happen too often and very much too conveniently to explain answered prayers.

GOD. Nothing happens by coincidence. He leads you to it, but it's your choice to take it.

I'm inclined to say coincidence, but who am I to say it wasn't God? I'm sorry for your loss.
