Not a chance, but if you hear the lie often enough, you'll begin to believe it.

Here is a common misconception about Islam and the Quran.
You see when Muhammed first started spouting off random glibs to the people of Mecca. The message of Islam and the Quran was truly a message of peace.
Then the ruling body got tired of the problems Muhammed was causing for them. Muhammed is rum out of Mecca with all of his followers. It was at this point that the Quran turned to jihad. Muhammed entered war with the pagan arabs of the time and consequently the Quran became more about the lesser Jihad (war) then the greater jihad (self).
People who want to coin Islam as a peaceful religon use Muhammed's earlier teachings. People that want to use Jihad for murder and mayhem use the latter.
But the bottomline is that Muhammed was a trouble man that simply wanted to go home and molded his teachings to do so. I say that if Prozac had been availible in the 600s Islam would have never existed.
Any radical of any faith can twist its teachings one way or another. This is the inherant problem with the religous world today.

Jihad is meant (1)to maintains or defends Islamic teaching and Islamic followers by the non muslim attackers in a war after a peaceful effort failed. (2)forwarding or spreading a right Islamic teaching without force to others (3)working or searching livelihood for earn a family living in line with Islamic teaching(4) struggling for maintaining someone's wealth from the robbers.(5)avoiding bad doings which are against with Islamic teaching such as gambiling,drug/alcoholic drinks, adultery etc
We should take a corrective action if we have enough power and authority to do that. such as a ruler. If we have no authority we should speak or tell it to the related person or the ruler and the weakest form we only pray in our heart, may God gives them a show to a right path..That is a right attitude of Jihad according to Islamic teaching. If there is someone against with those principles,he should be a terrorist..We hate terrorism. We hate also violence and doing a corrective action to others without having a legal authority..We should solve our problems with peace and love as our priority.A vilolence reaction from a certain
muslims is against with that principles is not in line with Islamic teaching,so they should be responsible for their own bad doings.

Well this is quite a sticky one. Like any religion I suppose it has its moderates and its extremists. The problem is, UNlike most other religions, even the moderates do not want other "infidels" (read: "people who believe in other religions or none at all") to exist.
As tolerant as we'd all like to be, if people like us are to keep on living peacefully (relatively)... we can not create a stable environment as long as there are popular ideologies out there that find it mandatory that our people die out.
To be honest, Islam creates an unstable environment. Almost an environment where either non-Muslims will have to win or Muslims will have to win... doesn't seem like the Muslims want any reasonable compromise either.
Just wait for "Suicide Killers" to be released...

That is the tip of the ice burg! Look at the news they are killing all over the globe. There is not a nation that has not bowed to there whims. Even the pope has apologized for freedom of speech. Even Hitler never got that.
The murder and hacking to death of millions in Africa and no one doing anything as they rape women and take 30,000 children as sex slaves. Hacking up any who dares protest. What kind of religion does those things.

Jihad doesn't mean holy war, it means "struggle."
Most of the violence currently is caused by politics, and religous extremists.
(ie. Iran's president, claims to do the bidding of the Ayatollah but he is actually stirring up trouble with the west to distract his people from the real issues of unemployment, civil unrest, etc.)

I dont think its about religion it never has been its about economics and power. The men involved dont care at all about God or Allah they care about power and money. Religion is the tool they use to manipulate desperate people for there selfish ends.
