We would all be glad if someone removed the bully at the school.
Or the cycopath serial killer who murdered women.
If this is God's planet shouldn't he be allowed to say who gets to live here and people who hack off arms and legs and rape and murder and scare people isn't it good when God destroys them?

Muslims around the world have shown their pure hatred for anyone else NOT Muslim...calling us "Infidels" and chanting, with fists raised, "Death to America"...and "Allāhu Akbar" ...."God is Great".
Who is this god of theirs whom they call on to witness their murders, rapes, and beheadings?
Is this religion? or is this simply pure hatred?

...that do not agree with each other (literal vs metaphor, for example), and translations of the bible into the two hundred or so languages of humanity pick and choose which words best convey the original message...and if these children make a mistake in all these myriad choices, they burn forever in hell...and if they do not choose -your- choice, you will tell them they are bound for hell...tell me of the compassionate love of you and your god for us ants.

Tell us poor, stupid ants how we have a better chance of finding heaven than we have with predicting the next winning numbers for a lottery.

Tell us why we should believe -you- have deciphered the maze and found the one, true religion? What makes -you- a genius and the rest of us so stupid?

If someone has received the free gift of everlasting life, no one can take it away. Even the person born of God. If person wants to abide in sin stubbornly God will seriously discipline person or take person home early.

Do you agree with me?

Once you're born of God, the love of God is in your heart. How can a born of God child abide in sin (make it a comfortable habit) since the Holy seed is within?

excuse my way of spelling it. But there are many of us who don't follow Islam who want to understand what is believed. I hear about infidels and I hope to find something positive in reading it... something positive is needed for sure in these times of worry.

I have a religion project due on Monday where I have to interview someone (Catholic) from the 50s. However, I do not know anyone who was born in this time since my grandparents have passed on and my aunts and uncles are all of a young age. Can someone please be generous enough to answer my questions. I would trully appreciate it. God bless.

The questions are:

1.What do you remember the church being like before the 1960s?
2.Was this a good time for you?
3.What do you remember the church being like during the 1960s?
4.Was it much different then the earlier years of the church?
5.In what ways was it different?
6.What changes did you react to most strongly?
7.Why did you react to these changes in this matter?
8.Did you like or dislike these changes?

Thank you all who will participate in helping me NOT ONLY recieve a good grade but learn more about the church! :)

... a path to hell?

How much easier to see each of us on a path to wisdom if we were not taught that only through strict obedience to the word of god can we find salvation?

Must we act like obedient, unquestioning robots to appease your god?

or history books we studied in school are true, yet they do The Bible? Men witnessed the events that took place, just as they did from our history books.

BBC forum quoted: "The anger and violance shown over the Popes remarks just reinforces what he said!"

He might have said something wrong, but by protesting, the muslim religion is again seen on the news as being unstable and hostile. sometimes "the best response is no response at all"!!!!. but there is no "walk away gracefully" when it comes to religion.

Yet, we turn our back on those suffering everyday. we ignore famine, we ignore the things that happen to others just as long as we are given our place in paradise... if that is acceptable to all of you then carry on fighting over yourselves! is religion really going to give us peace? honestly?

I get upset when i see religion as the cause of such imense hurts. Why can't religion promote something positive in our lives? for all our sakes, before we destroy ourselves over nothing? but i fear its not going to change. there should be no term "holy war" in any religous vocabulary but that is how all things will end!

Some nonbelievers call us Christians crazy for believing what someone said thousands of years ago. They say we are foolish for believing what a man could say. They say that we do not see reality because of this.

Here comes the twist:
They believe what men today say. Doesn't that seem odd? It's crazy to believe what someone said thousands of years ago but men today are telling the truth. But aren't they also believing what a man says?

If a man thousands of years ago can say that what he's saying is true than so can a scientist.

SILENCE
Sing to me sweet Silence
I am listening right here.
My ears are open to your message.
Of Truth I have no fear.
Darkest night does not fill me,
With fear or silly dread.
I will live this life with trust.
Until the day that I am dead.
I am at home with silence.
Darkness is as bright as day.
I fear nothing in this life.
I shall embrace it all the way.
Silence be my guide.
Darkness can be my light.
Sweet may be the sunrise.
But sweeter find I the night.
Only in silence does Wisdom speak.
His voice is loud and clear.
I shall harken to His message.
And share it down here.
