Personal Revelation from God is entirely personal, and nontransferable, until something written about it strikes a chord of reality in someone who formerly thought God was fictional.
Imagination is not always used to imagine imaginary things.

the Bible is a book, it was initially made up of manuscripts.a primary means for ascertaining its credibility today are the number of copies from those manuscripts which are currently in one's possession. The more copies we have the better we can compare between them and thus know if the document we now read corresponds with the original. It is much like a witness to an event. If we have only one witness to the event, there is the possibility that the witness's agenda or even an exaggeration of the event has crept in and we would never know the full truth. But if we have many witnesses, the probability that they all got it wrong becomes minute. All who wrote the bible were witness to what happened during that time.

There might be some truth to the existence of "God" but if the truth is mixed in with other lies, things get confusing and ugly.
The mass media has its hands on contributing to this proliferation of mixed bag of nuts.
The only way to counter its effect is to keep an open mind and find answers for ourselves. We all know how lies fall apart over time and progression, so sit tight, observe, learn and grow. That's all we could ask of mortal beings.

The Bible was given to us so he could reveal himself to us and so we would know God's plan.
As the creator of the Universe, the God of the Bible created man in his image. Romans 2:15 tells us that the "law written in their hearts". This is how I know he exists!
There has to be an absolute ideal about anything in order to base a judgment on or to discern anything. For example murder is wrong and we should not steal. Where do those principles come from. Even a child when you point out that they stole a toy from school and explain to them what they did wrong will have a sense of shame and remorse.
Everyone has that base in their heart.
"For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: Which show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the meanwhile accusing or else excusing one another. Rom. 2: 14,15.
"All men, everywhere, know themselves to be free and responsible moral agents. They know they are accountable for their deeds. They know this because the moral nature with which God has created them testifies to them of these truths. Some men deny this and claim that man's conscience, his knowledge of right and wrong, and his ideas of responsibility and accountability are not really innate revelations of his nature, but are merely learned and changeable convictions, acquired through reading the Bible, through religious instruction, or through the influence of society and environment.
"But in spite of what some men say, the fact remains that all men know intuitively that they are responsible and accountable for their actions. An absolute standard of right and wrong is revealed and apparent to all men. Man's moral agency and his responsibility and accountability are so apparent that he cannot rationally deny them. He can no more deny them than he can deny his
existence." (1)
"Human beings are not simply "religious, strangely imbued with a capacity for spirituality," as it is said today. We are actually God-conscious. Not only knowledge but moral sense is possible because we know God already.
"Though it is perfectly true that human beings have God's revelation, it does not follow that they process it correctly. Again, according to Romans 1, though we refuse to acknowledge him or give him thanks." (2)
This is only from a moral point of view. What about science. Their best answer is that two hydrogen atoms appeared from nothing and created the "Big Bang". The Universe is too awesome to not have a designer. Could a happy accident have created DNA?!!!

Pity somebody doesn't write more about apostrophes. They do not make a word plural my friend.
It's already been said that the main issue is "faith". by that, people tend to mean belief in something or someone with no evidence whatever for the existence of that person.
Basically the system works like this:
I cannot prove that there are NOT fairies at the bottom of my garden. Therefore there must be.
Idiotic, isn't it?

It's called Power. You invent some rules, state that everyone must live by them, and you create a controlled society.
It's an attempt to justify a meaningless existence. If everyone knew life was pointless, there'd be many more suicides.
The better question is: why are we the only species that works for a living? And why do we depend on others, too? And why did we invent time and money, as well as religion?

Read Psalm 19
The heavens tell of the glory of God. The skies display his marvelous craftsmanship. Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make him known.
They speak without a sound or a word; their voice is silent in the skies yet their message has gone out to all the earth, and their words to all the world... Psalm 19:1-3
It only takes a bit of faith. Check out the weblink below for some serious evidence.

People that have received Him into their heart know that He exists because they feel it...trust me! It's called the Holy Spirit. That is as clear and proof postitive as you can get. It's a personal experience for each person. The people God reveals Himself to know Him as fact and He is the ultimate truth.
