If someone has received the free gift of everlasting life, no one can take it away. Even the person born of God. If person wants to abide in sin stubbornly God will seriously discipline person or take person home early.

Do you agree with me?

Once you're born of God, the love of God is in your heart. How can a born of God child abide in sin (make it a comfortable habit) since the Holy seed is within?

leon, God won't let me kill someone. If I get into unforgiveness even I am turned over to the tormenters because God forgave & forgot all my sins. If I choose to believe the devils lies, & kill myself, I'll still go to heaven because I am born of God. Just that most of my house would be burned & I wouldn't get the rewards God wanted to give me.

Starly, Being born again is a "get out of hell" free to go to heaven card.

But if born again friends live like sinners, God will discipline them. We reap what we sow. Sometimes God takes us home early, if the disobedience gets that serious.

Hebrews 6:4-6 is a scary verse. Because I did fall away. As a child, teenager I loved God (Born of God), but at marriage & moving, I fell away (forgot about God because people are easily offended). 10 yrs later & I prayed to God again repenting (falling apart). Yes, I went though the points of no return, & ones I didn't know of. There is no point of no returning to God on this earth. It took a year, but God healed me from all that by frying all the idols acculated & false concepts about God. Yes I was saved as a teen. I went through a 1 yr break down. I just had to go through it. A conscequence of falling away. There are conscequences, but I received the free gift of everlasting life young.

yes

yet many who claim to have been born again-simply said a prayer -and didnt die to sin-you have to get saved from something that is where the big debate comes from.

Jesus said no man can pluck u from my hand.

and whom the Lord loveth he correcteth

when we are born from our mom we cant get unborn

born again from Jesus we cant get unborn either-John chapter 3

now we serve Jesus out of love -His unconditional love-not the fear of hell

yet many believers dont read the love letter from Jesus and lose the joy and peace of Jesus caught up in the cares of the world.. pray for them and be a good witness make em hungry by your happy and joyfull life in Jesus peace-even asking difficult questions-thanks

I see what you are saying. I unfortunately have fellow Christian relatives who party (clubbing and drinking and cussing) on Saturday and then shout "hallejuia" on Sunday. They assume that since they are born again, they are "saved" and "forgiven" for everything they do. THAT IS NOT HOW CHRISTIANITY WORKS. Born again does not mean a "get out of hell" free card.

"Whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither knoweth him." (3:6); "he that doeth sin is of the devil;" (3:8); "In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother." (3:10). I can't live in sin and maintain a relationship with God; it's either God or the devil (Rom. 6:16).
God will discipline one quickly!

Hebrews 6:4-6

"For in the case of those who have once been enlighteded and have tasted of the heavenly gift and have been made patakers of the HOLY SPIRIT, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, and then have FALLEN AWAY, it is IMPOSSIBLE to renew them again to repentance, since they again CRUCIFY, THEMESELVES, THE SON OF GOD AND PUT HIM TO OPEN SHAME."

Not my words but the words of God, the truth.

Love in Jesus' name

i have posed similar Q&A to this
i liken it to belonging to parents .. we will always be linked to our parents through genetics .. we will always be part of them and share their DNA
we come from God .. we are sparks of the divine
and as such we will always be linked with God and that bond may never be broken
we will return home one day

ur in control of ur own destiny, if u kill someone and u die not repenting then ur going to hell. It doesn't matter that u've been baptized or u have the seed of God in you,

"God will seriously discipline person" I thought your God was a God of LOVE?!?!

I know many people that were born and raised to believe in God, then opened their eyes and realised it was fake.
