If belief in the trinity is so important for salvation, why is the word nor the doctrine the central THEME of the Bible?
Why isn't the word trinity in the Bible?
Why did the Jews not elaborate on it?
Why did not Jesus expound on the idea, and then use repetition to drive the point home?

Why is it that to arrive at the concept of the trinity, we had to wait 300 years after Jesus died and was ressurected, so that an APOSTATE version of Christianity could VOTE on the formula that became the DOGMA of the trinity?

...not to worship any other God, why then do we worship Jesus? Why is this acceptable?

Also, I've heard it said that God and Jesus are "one in the same". How can that be?

Bishop Spong and others have advanced the theory that Paul was actually a homosexual. There appears to be convincing evidence in the Bible that he was gay. Given this fact, would you want to go camping, alone, in the woods with him for a few weeks. Just the two of you, sharing a tent?

So many religions out there either say that only humans are of any spiritual value or that humans are explicitly a higher level of life.

(of course, we're the ones who nominated, voted, and awarded ourselves this distinction... but that's another topic)

What the hell is so special about us?
Where do we get off acting like the "chosen" lifeform?

In terms of trustworthiness and loyalty, I'll put my dog (and even my evil cat) up against any human in existance.

I'm sorry, but when I look at the behavior of the species Homo Sapiens versus other species, I fail to see what is so damn special about us.
And I also note that the only species impressed with Homo Sapiens is ... Homo Sapiens.

So don't tell me that the bible (written by Homo Sapiens) constitutes any kind of proof that Homo Sapiens are occupy spiritual higher ground.

Anyone out there ever question whether man really is closer to "god" than are those we arrogantly term the "lesser animals"?

my daughter is dating a guy, his mother is a witch, he seems to support her in this. I am a christian. Now what I do not think this will be a long lived romance any way. He gets on my nerves without the satanic crap. Is it wrong to ban him from my house? Is that not being Christian like??

For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost, and theses THREE are ONE

God-Jesus-Holy Ghost

Matthew 28:18 ( IN RED)
ANd Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, ALL POWER IS GIVEN UNTO ME IN HEAVEN AND IN EARTH.
28;19
gO YE THEREFORE, AND TEACH ALL NATIONS, BAPTIZING THEM IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER, and the SON, and the HOLY GHOST;

Acts 2:38
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every ONE of YOU in the name of JESUS CHRIST for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Do you think there is only ONE GOD?

And if not can you give me bible verses also please

Christians understand the Theory of Evolution as Man came from apes, and Fossilization = bones lie around on a wind swept plain for thousands of years.

The bible says blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is unpardonable.

There are a LOT of interputations of what it is.

I believe it is the continually rejection of Jesus and his Holy Spirit.

What do you think? A lot of people have opinions, and entire religions have different beliefs about it.

Do you realise that these evolutionist think that a fossil was formed by laying out in the dirt and wind for thousands of years?

That is impossible. (proven by actual demonstrable, and measurable science) (the real stuff). So why is it they the atheists believe in billions of years of time. (please do not spout out any fairy tales about proven this or proven that because you all know that it is STILL merely theory). I hope the atheists can let go of their bong long enough to answer. lookin forward to it?

just so you know us "creationists" know that it happened in the flood..

I constantly read in here that Christioans think they are the best and are always putting down other religions. That is not true. I true Christian is trying to spred the truth in the Bilbe that so many religous systems don't follow or twist things. In my opinion, being Christian isn't a religion; It's a personal relationship with out Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. What makes Chrisianity unique among all the world's religions is that a person is put right with God not by doing good deeds or religious works, but by faith in Jesus Christ. Every other religion or spirtual system teaches that the way to get back to God is through some kind of religious works. The Bible teaches that we (all of humanity) are made right with God or justifies through FAITH. Read Galations 2:16. Christian brothers and sisters, do you agree with me? God Bless

I have a very important interview tomorrow and I am very nervous about it, as I am older now (42) and not as thin as I once was (and yeah these things do matter) not to mention the job is for a shipping clerk and while I have recent exp driving a towmotor, loading, unloading, etc., I have been out of the "office" environment for over 5 yrs and I believe there is a lot of computer data entry involved in this position. Anyway, I know I can do this job if I was just given an opportunity.

Furthermore, we have four kids and we're already behind on our bills. I've received help from Salvation Army with utilities twice already, to give you an idea of our situation. I really need this job.

My faith is not as strong as it should be, so I ask those of strong faith for some help. Please pray with me!!

I am a Roman Catholic who had strayed away from God and Church for a while and I think I may have had a visit from God last night and I've now been shown the way.

Are there any websites or message boards where I can go to discuss this with others that may have had a similiar experience? Would you like to discuss this further with me?

PLEASE - SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY.

Here's a link to my entire story for those that are interested:

Keep in mind that this just happened last night so it is still very fresh in my mind.
