People who are saved are people who have repented from what they have done. Repentant means that they no longer want to be disobedient, they want to stop sinning. So if a person does not want to stop sinning then they are not repentant, if they are not repentant they are not saved. Your creator is not dumb, he knows what is in your heart.

Ok.... Well first off, when you become saved and yet still want to live a life of sin, you are being "lukewarm" or, you are neither hot or cold... you're on the fence. Revelation 3:16 states: "So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth." God loves the sinner more than He loves a lukewarm person. It is an ugly taste in His mouth. You are obviously aware what getting saved entails. The definition of the word "Repentance" means "to turn 180 degrees", or to turn and go the other way. So if you were really truly repenting in your heart when you got saved, this means that you committed to God that you were going to turn away from your life of sin and live a life that honors and glorifies Him. He sent His Son to die a horrible gruesom death for you so that you could be redeemed from your sins, and live a life of abundance... not so you could prance around doing whatever you want, and still hurt Him. Believe it or not, when you sin, it does hurt God, how can you believe that you are saved, and a child of God when you have such a hurtful mentality towards God? As you said "Jesus says every one i recieve i discipline and correct-chastise-cause he loves us when we become his child-he dont want us to hurt ourselves so he gently corrects us" He does not want you to hurt yourself which is why He wants you to leave your sins behind and do everything you can to live a life that glorifies Him... Does this mean that you are not going to mess up? No, all Christians mess up, however, you know that you are truly saved when you mess up, but you repent and keep running towards Him. In other words, you take 10 steps forward and 2 steps back... you have still moved forward 8 steps. You have obviously been very decieved... I can only pray that God protects you from the deception that Satan has put you under, and that you can change your heart motive and see that God is a true loving God, and that He wants to be a best friend to you. He really does love you and wants the best for you.

That would be like learning there is no such thing and eternal torment in a hell fire HERE.
Then doing as you pleased because you were only in your position for fear Rev.21:7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
Rev.21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death [ note that this says the second death, GODLY HERE MEANS GODLY THERE AND SAVED ]:
WHERE IS FAITH IN FEAR? To learn there is no such thing. Gehenna, Tophet and the valley of the son of Hinnom has ceased such practices as human sacrifice.
What if Ahaz were your father? 2Chr.28:1-4; You would not have to be much into childhood until you faced the fire also, Jer.7:30,31; 19:2-5;
It the day of Jesus it was Mark 9:42-48;
I have heard that that is what the Mayan, Incas and Aztec did about 500 years and more after Christ [ GOOD ENOUGH HERE ALSO THERE FOR THESE ].
Examples of trust: Job 19:25,26; 34:14,15; Psm.104:29,30; Acts 2:31-35 [ Jesus resurrected out of sepulchre hell, David still there, where most are resurrected from Rev.20:12,13 ]:. Rev.1:7; Acts 1:9-11 Jesus ascended back to heaven where he came from [ to return again John 3:13-17 ];
John 6:39,40,44; 1Thes.4:15-17 his own for Rev.20:1-6];

When you are TRULY saved, you will want to turn away from sin. B/c when you pray it must come from all your heart and strength. By just saying a prayer and seep down inside you don't mean it, then you're just babbling. Jesus is not dumb, remember that he even knows the number of hairs on your head!!! Will we still sin? Of course b/c we are sinful creatures. But as long as our desire is to come close to God, know that we have sinned (and feel guilty) and want to repent and change then you are saved.

sounds like Catholicism is for you...just keep sinning, but as long as you go to confession, say a few Hail Mary's or whatever...you are golden.
Just try not to get run over by a truck or something before you confess again. I'm sure you could do it online now though, from a cell phone or Blackberry or something. Every time you sin just log on to the Vatican website, then to eConfessions.org
You can check out all the religions at God-U-Like and find others that may suit you too. What, I have to do everything for you??

well- the fact is that you can pray to be saved but if you truelly don't want to stop sinning then you really never got saved. God knows our hearts and he doesn't make us stop or start anything. We have a choice we either follow him and try our best to stay free of sin(which we are all sinners) or we continue in a life of sin and we choose to die and go to hell. you really should get alone with God and really talk with him because our flesh is weak but God is ultimately the only answer.

Just remember That we were all sin's , But with God in your heart you are saved and have a better chance to get to Heaven , but it's not bye what you do or say that gets you there it's how you live your life that is pleasing to Him. When you prayed the salvation prayer you took a vow to change your ways. YES we still sin no one is with out sin but God himself.
so wither you say or do something that isn't pleasing just go to God in prayer and ask him to forgive you and accept that he has and be willing to change your way. don't always expect him to forgive you but most of the i believe that Because he promises it in his words. that i have an obligation to follow in what he is directing me too wither it's temptation or falling to worldly things. I have one thing that a no Christian who sins far more then a christian. Is the hope of going to a better place eternity.
in Him.

I know right? I still have to go to the cross everyday though. It's a cleansing for me. I try not to sin, but I still do. I am saved from hell, but I don't want to sin, because I love and fear the Lord!

David,
You are a Christian. Stop this evil and deceptive form of missionizing. It degrades Christianity.

. It is, by definition, impossible for it to be "jewish" to believe in jesus. "Jewish" is, by defintion, what jews have historically and contemporarily believe. Since in neither scenario do we find "believing in jesus", then we must clearly realize that belief in jesus is not something "jewish". You can call it "biblical" (and still be wrong), but certainly not "jewish".
. On the side, the subject of Isaiah 53 is promised a "long life" and "seed" (i.e. physical children). Clearly this isn't about jesus.
. And Isaiah 7 is clearly not messianic if you read the whole chapter. and "alma" doesn't mean virgin either. You'd know that if you spoke hebrew (I guess it wasn't part of your "extensive jewish upbringing", huh?)
. On the side, Isaiah 9 can't be about jesus since, according to christianity, he's the "son" not the "father" (as the verse states). Nor did he have control of the government (to the contrary, the roman government killed him). And he certainly did not establish "endless peace".

oh, and lastly, I've decided that you truly epitomize everything I find intensely intellectually unsatisfying about christianity. (And you clearly do not understand hebrew.)
