I think you nailed them pretty good, but I am sure their response would be... that was written by the Jews. That is what they say about Isaac recieving the blessing / inheritance from Abraham.

Nope, the root of islam is not from christianity the roots of true christianity is from islam. Most views islam as all turban and

It is speaking of the ancestors of Ishmael, which are the Arab people. Islam came many hundreds of years later.
