I do believe that there is only One God. For some people it is really hard to understand, but we were not made to understand the things of God. He is higher than us, so we don't always have to know exactly what He is doing.
God is called the The Holy One.
Jesus said that "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
God sent His Son, which is a part of Him, into the world to save each of us by dying for us. How many people would do that just so one person wouldn't have to die. Not many. But Jesus did for EVERYONE.
After Jesus died and rose again, His followers stayed in Jerusalem, at His instruction, to wait for the "Comforter." This Comforter was The Holy Spirit, also a part of God.
essentially, God is our Comforter, our Savior, and our Creator.
Many people do not want to accept that, but it is true.
The Bible has been proven many times, and it has NO contradictions. Some might expect that, because it was written over a period of centuries! And yet, not a single story or verse contradicts another one, written at an earlier or later date.
Also, Christianity is very clear in saying that this faith is God reaching out for us.
If you look at th eother religions, it is man reaching out for god by what we do. Ephesians 2:8-9 says, "For by GRACE you have been saved through FAITH, and not of yourself; it is a FREE GIFT of God. Not of WORKS, lest anyone should boast."
We can't earn our way to heaven, but we must accept his FREE Gift of salvation.
God, Three in One, is Holy and Just. But he is also Merciful.

It's 3 things in one god. God the Father - The biggest part of the holy trinity. God The Son - Jesus Christ. God The Holy Spirit - what occupies your body when you accept christ. It's kinda complicated when you try to anylaze it. just accept. It will be simpler.

Yes, one God, the Godhead or Triune God or Trinity, however you want to term it. Father, Son, Holy Spirit all as one. We cannot really understand it. Just like Jesus was entirely man and entirely God. We can't wrap our minds around it, but it is.

There is three entities. That's why they are called the Holy Trinity.
God - the creator of everything!
Jesus - His son
Holy Spirit - the holy spirit that lives within us all who are saved.
They are all one in the same. Kinda like when a person has a child, that person is PART of both parents. You can kinda use that example with the Holy Trinity.

This passage(I John 5:7) is of questionable authenticity, but the principle therein is true. The trinity concept as believed by most christians is both illogical and unscriptural! The godhead is comprised of three beings/entities:our heavenly Father, Jesus Christ,His Son,our Lord, and the Holy Ghost. Each is GOD,so there are literally three beings who are GOD(they all share the attributes and glory of/as GOD),yet they are all three ONE GOD in that they function as ONE! They share the same power, wisdom, knowledge, will, and purpose! And don't forget the primary attribute of GOD is-LOVE!

Well done. Those are the scriptures used to teach and explain the trinity to a new Christian. Thank you for sharing.
Yes, I believe in the Trinity; One Father, One Son, One Spirit.
It is my prayer that many people here read this question.

1 John 5:7 as you translated it is considered a spurious (added text) by ALL scholars.
All ancient manuscripts show that verse referring to spirit, water, and blood. Trinitarians added it seeking proof of their doctrine.
I did not add bible verses as your questions says to add them if I don't beleive there is one God. All bible verses indicate a single entity for God.
Check any source your quoted version of 1John 5:7 is considered spurious. Even Trinitarians refuse to use it for arguementation knowing it would be very counter productive.
