Christians understand the Theory of Evolution as Man came from apes, and Fossilization = bones lie around on a wind swept plain for thousands of years.

My "internal struggles about where we came from and where we're going" is about as real as your imaginary friend.

But you believe that God (who's just sitting around for eternity) spontaneously created from matter nothing and then magically designed it into life" and then pass it along as fact.

There's truth to that.

Life if the ID "scientist" = give up, say "gawd did it", credit yourself with being smart, and go home.

No, it is science that makes up a story that "matter was first spontaneously created from nothing and then magically evolved into life" and then passes it along as fact. That sounds like a load of crap to me.

Do you really believe something came out of nothing? Where is the scientific logic? Once science discovers the evidence for something, is that something then real, or was it real before they make the discovery?

I read the virus article, which makes a valid point. The article did not state this was a live virus, but I am going to assume it was and all in the article is true. Where did the first matter come from? If it came from energy, where did that force come from? My argument is that there had to be an original begin point, a creator. Matter cannot be created from nothing.

Of course not and even to understand ID you have to understand some scientific concepts such as information theory, irreducible complexity, design theory and other concepts. Also bones don't get fossilzed laying around in the open, they are formed by being covered quickly by sediment over time. Objects have been fossilized in years or decades. Consider the "Limestone cowboy" as one example. In about 1980 near the town of Iraan, Texas a cowboy boot with a partial leg inside it was found petrified. The make of the boot was determined to be from a boot company that made that style around 1950. CT scans taken in 1997 at Harris Methodist Hospital in Ft. Worth TX of the boot revealed the contents were leg bones. The boot with CT scans was last known to be on display at the Creation Evidence Museum in Glen Rose, Tx. I have a very clear picture of it from the book, "Why Do Men Believe In Evolution Against All Odds?" by Carl Baugh, Ph.D.

Not all believers in creation are stupid.
Intelligent design is an attempt to use science to prove creation.
It hasn't been done yet. Evolution theory only addresses what happens to life AFTER it began, and does not address HOW it began, so creation and evolution are different subjects, not opposing ones. Humans and apes descended from a common ancestor, more like cousins, not grampa & grandson.
But if you're interested in the subject of 'proof' of intelligent design, Perry Marshall gives a good explanation of why and how DNA 'proves' the existence of God.
Just google Perry Marshall and DNA, there's a wealth of information there.

No

Here it is in a nutshell

Science says the Rubber Broke

Religion says your Mommy and Daddy WANTED to have YOU

That's basically what it boils down to.

Science says you are SERINDIPITy

A lucky accident.

ACCIDENT

As in the rubber broke.

Mommy and daddy wanted to have fun in bed, but they didn't want to make a baby, but when daddy pulled out, lo and behold, there was a hole

So you were made.

You were SERINDIPITY

A lucky accident.

YOu were't wanted

You weren't made on purpose

You were an accident.

That is what SCIENCE says you are

An accident.

Religion says something wiser, greater WANTED to make you and that's why you are here.

You were WANTED.

You were designed.

SCIENCES needs Religion to JUSTIFY cloning and test tube babies in the motiff of Aldus Huxley (Brave New World) and then they will call this

INTELLEGENT DESIGN

And you will learn about it in schools

Man becomes God

What will the CLONES

and Test Tube Babies think of THEIR creators?

You know science will keep them in a lab

You think Science will let them walk out a door and go to McDonald's for lunch?

Now do you understand reality.

You were a throw of the dice

You were a cosmic crap game

You are a lottery ticket that wins the jackpot.

But that number was NOT picked by a person or entitiy

You were randomly generated

You are, according to Science, an accident.

Now, would you please go and put some Amino Acids into a Test Tube and make me ONE aemoba!

Intelligent Design for me would be people like you to Design Intelligent questions instead of bantering back and forth day after day with statements that will never really prove anything, one way or the other.

I need intelligent design, but I realize that did not happen in your case. Do you really think that life came from a rock?

Um, dude' my point was that it is impossible for them to be exposed to the elements and remain let alone be preserved so perfectly... bong dude put down the bong....

Perhaps those who critique the belief in creationism in such an open forum are over compensating for their own internal struggles about where we came from and where we're going??

Why would you care about what someone you disagree with thinks or believes unless you yourself are questioning your own belief system...and to that end, I wish you luck.

Yeah, but try explaining the radioactive halflife of carbon 14 to them!
Oh that'll give them a headache!

Why do you think they are so comfortable with nuclear energy? They don't understand.
