Well, if all Muslims are bad because of some ignorant fools who blew themselves up and murdered a bunch of people, then Catholics must all be bad too, because during the Inquisition they tortured and killed a bunch of people, and also because their priests "all" like to . . er. . . play. . . with children.
Also, Hitler was Christian, and he had many followers who killed thousands and thousands of people, so ALL Christians must be bad too, eh?

Not all Muslims are bad. But if the only ones we hear and see are spouting jihad or flying planes into towers to kill Infidels, we do not have a lot of other choices. They need more positive and tolerant roll models for the world to see. If the Muslim world could stand up to Osama or petty tyrants like Saddam, the world would be a better place.

I think it has alot to do with the terrorist attacks!Besides you hear about terrorist calling all Muslims to attack America!I just seen that on the news!No it is not fair that all Muslims be judge as bad people!But that happens everyday!If you are born into a family which has been known to get in trouble,you will most likely be judged on what they have done!We are all humans and we sin!Even if people say they judge someone"anyone" that is not true!Even if it is done just with their heart or mind!I wouldn't let it get to you!I would just pray that Christ will help them!God Bless!

People tend to be prejudice even when they do not believe they are.....read many of the answers on here and it is not just Muslims that the prejudice comes out on but many groups....my theory is that many on here are young are still figuring things out in the world....with age comes wisdom is a true statement...took me till just a few years ago to see just how true that statement is......now that does not explain the older crowd not on here that share many of those feelings....just seems history repeats itself....during world war II many in our country held all Japanese Americans accountable for Pearl Harbor....put them into camps...might just be uncertain and not being able to tell who is and is not good in a group...if they took the time to study Islam they would know that what the radical few are making it is not what it is all about....
How many of the answers on here are really just stated to stir things up.....a lot like I said the other day are just here to cause trouble....

The reason that most people think the worst of all Muslims is the deafening silence we hear when there should have been outrage and condemnation of the murder of innocents. Mainstream Muslims have not spoken out against the evil in their midst, and continue to support it, whether by tacit approval or by actual financial or moral support.
The only example I can think of that is even close is that of Eric Robert Rudolph, the guy who did the Atlanta Olympic bombings and bombed several abortion clinics. Christians all over the country, even the anti-choice camp, widely condemned his actions as a violation of the Commandment prohibiting murder.
The point is, we recognized the cancer in our midst and eventually cut it out. Sadly, Muslims have not behaved this way.

Thats true not all muslims are bad, just like all Nazi's aren't bad. Though following an ideology based on hate usually doesn't appeal to good people.

don't sell the texas cowboy short. i think he hit on the answer. people are waiting for the general muslim community to speak out strongly against terrorism, but there isn't much other than silence. the suspicion is that some of the non-terrorists are not bothered by the "decadent western world" getting punched in the eye from time to time. and with that comes the generalization that the entire group must somehow be accepting terrorism. not saying it's right, just reading what is put in front of me.

The terrorist muslims are just being true to the words that are in the koran...and it's all about kill, kill, kill the infidels. Sure I agree not all muslims are bad...that is because they either do not know what is written in the koran or they choose to be ignorant of the things that are in it. There is only one way to heaven, through Jesus.

It is because what happened with 911. It is hard to get over. It was the bad Muslims that caused that disaster. It is the same with why do Muslims hate Americans? We Americans help many country's and what thanks do we get. We are in Iraq fighting a war we do not need to fight. We are losing alot of soldiers. I think that is why alot of Americans can not stand Muslims thanks to Osma and his whole caravan.

I've answered questions like this a thousand times. Most of us don't believe that all Muslims are bad - just different. We know that it was only a few individuals who caused the terrible 9/11 tragedy - not all Muslims.
