Most christians in America are a further splintering from the protestant church, a product of the Reformation in England.
Why do Protestants worship the book more than those who actually toted it through most of it's history?

Jesus says that in order to get into heaven you must not commit adultery. It is impossible for a man to not lust after women. Lust is what keeps our species alive. If a man didn't experience lust then there would be no reason to get married or have kids. Billy would never talk to the hot girl because he wouldn't think she was hot in the first place. The species would dwindle as everone went off to do their own thing instead of starting families. Men are fueled by lust. It's something that not a lot of women like to think is true, but it is. Thus, it is impossible for men to get into heaven. Tell me I'm wrong and explain. Please.

Does God grant what you have prayed for? I am asking this because it says in the bible that if you ask in the name of the lord, it will be given (something along those lines)


And Im wanting to know if god only grants certain things.

Like if you prayed to get blackjack whilst playing would he grant that?
If you prayed to roll a 6 on all 4 dice your rolling, would you roll 4 6's?

The Bible contains many quotes about how women must be subordinate to men. For many contemporary Christians, this forms a serious barrier between them and a very literal interpretation of the Holy Bible. I don't agree with them and left Christianity for these and other reasons. There were some interesting responses to a similar question concerning Transubstantiation.

At what point do you give in to "Buffet Christianity" in response to such ridiculously outdated beliefs? Do you believe that you don't need to follow all of what the Bible says to do in order to be a good Christian? Should all of the Bible be taken as the divine truth, even the really, REALLY excentric stuff if one is to call themself a good Christian?

If a man decides to enlist for the war as a medic, he's not choosing to be a medic out of freewill...something in his life must have inspired him to help people. Since we have no control over what inspires us, there can't be freewill.

Real Prosperity

A rich man asked Sengai to write something for the continued prosperity of his family so that it might be treasured from generation to generation.
