That is insanity...sounds like something that the mom from Stephen King's Carrie would do...

It seems she was out of control for some reason. Now the religion part of the situation is that she should have been praying for her repentance not his. I do not know how this relates to evangelism at all. Of course some christians do react in violence when it concerns their religion. It seems her brother laugh to scorn making this accusation against himself. I believe the girls was somewhat right due to the fact they were only trying to scare him and did not really admit they wanted to kill him or nothing. That shot in the ceiling could have been for him if they were really serious. It seems that the man in this setting is somehow at fault for this reaction by the girls.

God gave humans free choice. We have the choice to accept Christ or reject him. To force repentance (especially by gunpoint) is definately NOT in God's will. No where in the article did they say these women were "Christian". There are other religions that believe in a god that forgives sins.

Perhaps a trip to see a professional will do her and her friends some good. A sane person would not hold someone at gunpoint.

No it isn't repentance. God wants us to treat each other with care and humility. What she did was wrong. Her brother had to repent on his own because he had to learn that God is the way to true life and repentance. He had to learn from his mistakes in his own time.

I'd say it's a bit extreme...
Betcha that kid doesn't laugh at his sister's prayers next time!

I think that entire bunch needs to see a head mechanic and get some screws tightened!!

Can you believe it. Amazing the lengths that Christians will go to get someone new to follow them. But then, is trying to scare us to death with fire and brimstone much better? Well, okay a gun is worse.

...Extreme evangelism?

Well, I'm a Christian - I think it is extremely stupid.... Since we don't have the power to convince someone to repent - only God can do that in a person's heart.
