"But I say, anyone who even looks at a woman with lust in his eye has already committed adultery with her in his heart."
- Matthew 5:28

Jesus says that in order to get into heaven you must not commit adultery. It is impossible for a man to not lust after women. Lust is what keeps our species alive. If a man didn't experience lust then there would be no reason to get married or have kids. Billy would never talk to the hot girl because he wouldn't think she was hot in the first place. The species would dwindle as everone went off to do their own thing instead of starting families. Men are fueled by lust. It's something that not a lot of women like to think is true, but it is. Thus, it is impossible for men to get into heaven. Tell me I'm wrong and explain. Please.

I really think that asking forgiveness for something that you have no control over (lust) is pretty stupid. You'll be punished for a crime you didn't commit if you don't ask for forgiveness. Does this seem like something the "creator of the universe" would make us do? Christians think he made us after all. He gives us the "flaw" himself, then tells us that we have to ask forgiveness every time we lust? This makes no sense, and if Christians weren't so stubborn they would realise it.

The scriptures clearly states that overcomers will inherit heaven. Each day we must want to overcome. It is true, you could come across a girl that looks really "hot" and stir up some sexual emotions but you do not have to feed that emotion. Run away quickly, pray and asked not to be lead into temptation if this person is not your mated. If you are going to do what married folks are doing, get married. And to answer the question, can a man go to heaven? I say yes. But keep in mind that there's only room for 144,000 that have been brought from the earth. The remainder of overcomers remain on the new earth.

You are wrong. Having lust is not equal to committing sin. You have to control your lust. If you make a mistake repent sincerely and Allah will forgive you. Allah fogave Adam and Eve when they commited a sin and they were made Governors on Earth. So there is no original sin and every child born is innocent and peaceful and obedient to the God i.e. a Muslim.

dude, thinkin' a girl is hot is TOTALLY different then playing out the scenario of how you and her are having SEX. Lust is different than attraction. Read Arterburn's "Every Man's Battle" if you are really interested in sexuality and serving God. You can clean up your head, it takes discipline and some accountable (i.e. a coach or mentor) but it can be done. You're on the way to heaven if you're really worrying about this.

You are right. And God is good in saying this because none of us is worthy to go to heaven. Jesus said that to enter heaven is impossible with men, but all things are possible with God. Thus, Jesus is stating that we lust and break the 7th Commandment. The 10 Commandments show the perfect holiness of God and that we as His creation are imperfect and full of sin. But God is rich in mercy. Jesus, being God in the flesh died for our sins on the cross and was resurrected from the dead defeating sin and death being the perfect sacrificial lamb. If we repent of our sins and trust Jesus to save us from the wrath of God then God promises that we will be saved on Judgment Day. Just remember that to repent means to stop doing that sin. The only way you could even begin to stop sinning is to be born again with the Holy Spirit.

That's why Jesus died on the cross... for the atonement of our sins. You're right when you say that it's impossible for a man to get into Heaven. You have to accept Jesus as your Saviour and ask Him to come into your life. God loves us enough to accept us as we are but He loves us too much to leave us that way. All you have to do is ask Him to come into your life and truly believe that He is the only way into Heaven & you're saved! If you have any additional questions, go to the website "Way of The Master" and take the good person test.

Life doesn't get easier as a Christian but it does get better. God allows the bad stuff to happen so that you can get closer to Him and lean on Him rather than trying to work alone. When you sin, all you have to do is confess your sin to him and ask forgiveness. His mercy is new every morning! How can people not be excited and on fire for God with this news! No matter how many times you might screw up, He'll still love you and He'll still forgive you. He will never leave you and if you feel like He has left you, it's really you who have moved away from Him. It's just like that Footprints In the Sand poem. When you only see one set of footprints, it's because He is carrying you rather than leaving you to walk alone. Hope this helps... e-mail me if you have any more questions.

Lust is the carrying to extreme that natural desire and drive. If you look at a woman, feel sexual stirring and look away in an attempt to stifle that which you know you should not indulge, then there is no sin. If you look at a woman intentionally thinking sexual thoughts, indulging in these willfully then it is a sin. This is what I teach my sons. By the way lusting after your own wife is not a sin. This is just how God made man.Women too should guard man's purity and not dress to cause undue sexual excitement.

Your facts are true. But Jesus came here as a man. He was the same as all men in the world. We WILL go to heaven. If we follow THE TEN COMMANDMENTS. If you can follow God, then you will be inside heaven. It is very Possible. You did the right thing, you consulted your bible first, good job man.

I think that its impossible for men not to go to heaven. Jesus was not talking about an afterlife type of heaven. He was saying that you created a living hell for yourself if you tried to have relationships with more than one woman at a time. If you think I am wrong try doing it for a while and see what a disaster your life turns into.

That's kinda shallow-minded, although I see your point clearly. Billy, or Pastor Erickson or Father O'brien would not deny what they feel when they see hotty struttin' her ****. Nor would you or I. No, you're not wrong. You're absolutely correct. What you are forgetting is that God sent Jesus Christ, of Himself, as a human being, to us to experience these things. And that then, He also condemed Him to death of a cross to save us from these very things. God is the author of lust. It's meant to cling us to our wives, and our wives ONLY. No it isn't impossible for us to get into heaven. We only need to accept God's plan for us (men) and to live by it. Win, Win. You're right. But with the right heart, we're both going to Heaven.

You are not looking through the eyes of Calvary. You need repentance, baptism in Jesus" Name, and the infilling of the Holy Ghost. You need a continual cleansing from the things of this world. If you were to look at this one scripture and say "I cannot go to Heaven" then you would be denying the cleansing power of the blood of Jesus Christ. Repented sin after you are born again is cleansed by this same blood.
