God is a man
his Son is a man (and you gotta believe in him to get to heaven)
Every pope ever is man.
Every Cardinal, bishop and Priest is a man,
These men make rules about sex and marriage without ever having been in a relationship.
These men want rape victims to give birth to their attackers babies rather than abort them.
These men oppose all birth control -( all women will have the babies but not all men will stick around)

Why do women believe in such an oppresive religion?

my husband and i started to go to church (christian) and the reason because I told him that I didnt love him anymore and wanted out. Now that we are going, yes I do feel good inside, and yes I am still with my husband, but I pray everyday the love to come back in my heart. Its hard because the only time I can really be with my husband (sex) if I am either High of weed and just let my mind go...I do care alot for him, because we been thru alot together and I do want the best for him too and i want to stay with him if I can be happy all around. Its been about 2 months that we have been involved in church with our kids. Yes we still have or fights, and we still have our issues like before. and I know GOD doesnt want me to divorce and remarry.. and I really dont want my kids to go thru again another failing relationship..(if that would of happen) So does this mean just go to church and follow christ and wait even more?I am confused on this. and my husband isnt helping the situation.

In Canberra, Australia scientists are trying to develop an oral contraceptive for kangaroos as a humane way to keep the population down. They hope to have the contraceptive available in two - five years.

Many, don't agree with oral contraceptives being used with human beings. It is interference with the natural order of things? What is your opinion on this?

If God wanted to inject a little bit of fact into his "bible" then wouldn't he mention monumental occasions in the future like 9/11 so that evey 2000 years or so the unbelievers could ponder if maybe the bible is actually true.

As far as aI know the bible is just about suppressing women's right though.

Anyone care to offer a bible quote that fortells 9/11?

Couldn't you just think a prayer, instead of saying it out loud? In fact, you shouldn't even have to do that: God should know what you are GOING to think before you think it, so if you were going to think about praying for something tomorrow, why doesn't God just go ahead and grant it today?

I don't think He's using His powers of omnipotence or omniscience very effectively.

And don't say it's because He has got better things to do than answer all my prayers before I ask them. If He's as concerned as y'all say about who has sex with whom, I'm sure He has got plenty of free time on His hands.

The apostles all thought that Jesus was going to come "soon" and so do the majority of Christians today. If you read old sermons, every Christian writer thinks Jesus is coming soon. This is bs and Christians should see this, but they don't. I even think Jesus himself said he was coming soon. Since he hasn't come yet, it's that just one more piece of evidence that makes Christianity wrong?

In the Holy Bible we find Mathew's accounts of Jesus in prayer 6:5-6 "And when thou prayest, thou shalt be as the hypocrite are: enter into thy closet and when thou has shut thy door, pray to thy father which is in secret." from Mathew14:23 "Jesus went up on the mountain by himself to pray." again ...Thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men....But thou, when thou prayest, enter into the closet, and when thou has shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret... this is why i beleive christianity has nothing to do with jesus's teachings, becasue he taught NOT to pray in public, im religious, but i know for fact jesus taught it is wrong to pray in public. i am totally against the bush regime that is obviously diminishing our rights, so its ordinary to think that it is freedsom of religion, but just thik about other religions, and its not using your rights when praying.
