you tell me. You demonstrate faith a thousand times a day. For example, every time you get into an elevator. After all, prove that the elevator will go to the floor that you tell it to, and not plummet to the bottom of the elevator shaft. There is no way to know for sure, only the faith that it will work as designed.
Another more readily available answer is the roof over your head. You do not know (unless you built it yourself) that the structure is sound. You only have faith that the engineers that designed the struts and the carpenters that installed them did the job properly

That sounds like someone I know! Faith is believing in something is true because the person telling you something is not a known liar. He is known as a truthful person. He says from what he knows and experiences...Why believe in something that is not true? Faith is a good thing.

I prefer the Bible definition
Heb 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
Heb 11:2 For by it the people of old received their commendation.

i think faith is believing in something u dont know for sure; you cant see, you cant touch, you can't prove, but u just have to trust that it's there.

Yup. It's called questioning your own closely held beliefs and maintaining your dignity and self-confidence--thinking out of the box and learning acceptance.

I think so, it may explain my lack of faith in anything supernatural, I just can't get past that whole -doesn't exist- thing.
