What is this paradise like that suicide bombers think they go to?

I'm trying to understand their twisted mentality. What do they expect to be there waiting for them? Other cowardly killers?

MAUS....Are you defending suicide bombers? And why do you bring Christians into this?I mention no religion. I think your answer speaks volumes!

its called being brain washed into believing something that they feel that they need to be part of it. I suppose its also like Pavlov's experiment. Only these poor saps are made to drool when they are told they will go paradise....etc. The interesting thing is what if after death.....there is only death. The end. Maybe they feel that they have been held down for so long that actually joining the rest of the world, no matter how faucked the world may seem to others, they are just afraid of having to actually intergrate and share their culture. So instead of progressing they choose to kill all who don't think like them. Any way I hope you find your answer. I am curious to know myself. By the way Maus is dumb a$s idiot.

In all the religions Islam, Christianity, and Judaism those who defend the country, its people and the religion and while defending all these die - then they go to Heaven. Suicide bombers are also think that they are defending something, in most cases it is either religion or a land (palestine, iraq, afghanistan...etc). When they die they expect to be martyrs and go to Heaven.

I asked a similar question a while ago about suicide.

I think a lot of it is about raising their status within their social group. If they have religious leaders that exhalt this behaviour, and are surrounded by peers who believe in suicide bombings, they are bound to be affected.

People often want to be respected by their peers. They join in the anti-western chants because it's easy to hate the same people as everyone else. (nothing unites people like a common enemy - Hitler did it with the jews).

So.... organised hate + the need to be respected by your peers + distorted religious beliefs = Suicide Bomber.

They mistakenly believe they will end up in a heaven surrounded by naked women everywhere. This interpretation arises from the difficulty in talking with their language and the written words used in the texts. As spoken, the common tongue translates the words into that type of heaven. In reality, what is written says they will reach a state of hevenly enlightenment. The part about the holy jihad and dying for the cause is also wrong and based on the same misunderstanding.

They are young men and this is what the older grownups have told them and they believe it. Actually I think it is kind of sad.
They are just kids and grownups do bad things to kids.

i read all ur question ' s answers . of course , i know what is the feeling of the answerers as americans or any ppl
that want to live in peace . as for me, i ' m against 9/11 but i ' d like to talk about this subject from another point of vue .
the jehad is something really important for any muslim (man or woman) , not only in my country but also in all islamic countries .
during the last 2 centuries , ur great country " america " has looked for an ennemy , after germany and japan , it came ussr , russia bye bye , the american politicians should find a new ennemy . if there is no ennemy , it w'ont occur any war , hence no weapon ' s sales .
