"im assuming that by islamophobe you mean one who fears islam? I have no fear for islam, its devil inspired and God has already conqured over satan, i have nothing to fear from islam"
That is one of the most insulting statements I have heard in a long time. I am in no way affiliated with the islamic faith... in fact, I am in no way affliliated with any faith, but to tear down another faith with such a petty insult breeds hatred, ignorance and violence. You wonder why we have world wars, why there is terrorism, why there is violence? It's because of people like you who are so narrowminded and confident in their beliefs that they feel deep down in their heart that any other belief is false or less than theirs, and as such, they are justified in any statements they make against that faith. Well statements are only a step away from actions. Your attitude is EXACTLY the attitude that precipitated 9/11 and other terrorist activites by extremist groups.

Hatred sums up how people feel about people who blow up planes, trains, automobiles and buildings full of people.
Wonder how Islam would feel if someone drove a jet into their most holy Mosque in Mecca. On the most Holy day, so it would be filled inside and outside.
Think they'd be phobic!
Islam send Hamas people into Israel or some resort by the sea to blow up people in a restaraunt, shopping center or hotel and it's cool.
Israel blows up the headquarters of Hamas and it's not cool.
Osama declares Jihad after the fact and blows up buildings in New York and Washington and it's cool and people dance in the street.
We bomb mountains in Afghanistan and it's not cool.
Doesn't that just reek of bias and prejudice!
They can get away with it and no one else can.
Isn't that a little one sided.
And WE gave very advance notice on Afghanistan.
Osama gave NO notice on the World Trade center.
It was a sneak attack like Japan at Pearl Harbor.
We got even with them. We nuked em. Twice.
But that wasn't cool.
Sinking half the American fleet and damaging Pearl harbor, that's cool, but blowing up two small cities in retaliation, that's not cool.
People got their heads on backwards.
I personally feel we should sneak attack tomorrow with everything we got and level the Middle East, just kill off half the population and destroy the infrastructure and contaminate the oil for 200 years.
It would certainly drive the price of our Oil way and and then we can make FRace pay through the nose and kiss our rear ends to get their oil!
Does that give you Phobia!
We can do it, with the push of a button and we don't even have to send troops or planes or ships.
We got a couple a hundred intercontinental missles that actually work quite well and can reach anywhere in the world.
They'd be too busy rebuilding for the next 50 years to give us a second thought and their oil would be useless for two centuries until the half life of Plutonium dispates.
Now, how's your phobia doing!

I hate all of this anti Islam stuff. And no I am not a Muslim. People need to remember that any religion when practised to the extreme can be very dangerous. Religion has started most wars in history and I doubt that is going to change while we are all so narrow minded.
Why should I try to change someone or have something against someone who does not share the same beliefs as I do? To be honest I have better things to worry about..

Yeah...
They come out when the mood of the world is sombre, because bright moods cause them to burn, shrivel, and die.
Most likely, they will go into hiding until the next elections, and if not enough of us realise that, we will have even more days of sombre mood ahead of us.
The only thing we can do is vote; there is no excuse for abstention nowadays; let us make them crawl back under the rocks and into the cesspools they belong by voting for people who would help keep the mood of the world brighter.

yeah, lets all love each other and live in peace and harmony! Its not going to happen. You might as well accept that people sometimes don't like their neighbour. No amount of spin, political correctness, tree hugging courses or whatever can change that?
Me, I don't care what you do, I'm just your white late twenties hetro sexual bloke, I really don't care what your personal believes are, just don't expect me to follow and don't try to pursuede me to follow either. Just leave me alone. Don't (excuse the pun) 'rub my nose in it'. If you want to follow the Islamic faith- thats fine, if you want to worship sheep - again (a bit weird but fine) , but do it in your own home. Don't march through London with Placards stating 'death to all non-believers' and 'Islam will conquer the world' or perhaps 'hang all who denounce Islam', and please don't try and blow up 10 aeroplanes over the Atlantic.

Stop worrying chum. Whether "phobia" for you means fear or hate it makes little difference.
All people fear and hate those whose declared purpose is to cut their throats, those who seek the hospitality of the West and then try to destroy it, those who, while not prepared to kill themselves, approve the killers, find justifications for them and harbour them.
As for my self, I just have a phobia of barbaric religions, so you can call me an Islamophobe.

A phobia is a fear. You are using the wrong word. A better question to as yourself would be: Why do so many uneducated people presume themselves to be so knowledgeable?

seanswimsnrt makes a point about insulting a religion but he fails to realise that all religions are false and we should all hate falsehood. The best thing one can do in life is to destroy falsehoods and, if necessary the people who propound them as they are, by definition, a danger to society.

I think at the heart of it, Islam is a wonderful religion. To bad it seems that it is coming down to a case of us vs them. At the end of the day, as much as I respect Islam, I will not be subjected to it, or the whims or demands of its fanatical leaders. So screw them.
