Of course, I am not judging these people. It just seems that that was a wrong thing to do, making all of that money and not starting something for the poor.
At least, start a job training center through out the country with the proceeds. It was for the work of the Lord. Well, middle class Americans are not the ones the Lord loves. He loves the poor too.
I think people should do waht they can to help each other out, esp. those of us who call on the name of the Lord Jesus.
Great comments! Keep'em comming!! God bless you all.

The love of money is the root of all evil.
Doesn't matter if you HAVE money or not...do you LOVE money? That's what God is judging....
Each one of us, Jim and Tammy included, will have to face that judgment...whether our dog has an airconditioned dog house or not is not what will matter nearly as much as our attitude....

Yes they did. Have you ever stolen anything? Even something small? Then you're just as bad as they are in God's eyes. We're all sinners on this planet, and thank God He sent His Son Jesus to offer us His grace and forgiveness. Now their son has an AWESOME youth ministry and is totally cool and is NOT a phony like his parents were.
I am a born again spirit filled Christian and I am NOT a fake. Just because two people on TV were fakes doesn't mean the rest of us are. People use two high-profile individuals to judge the whole rest of the world and that's ignorant.
But I ask you this...
...do the people from the United Way, abortion clinics and other organizations enjoy life from donations while others around them in America starve?
Do people like Bill Gates enjoy their ritzy life while others in America starve?
Of course!
But you don't hear anybody judging all computer geeks or benevolent organizations because of it.
Jim and Tammy were trying to spread the Gospel, which is what the Bible tells us to do, and as you know the Bible is the main basis of the Christian faith. If they didn't do what they felt like they were called to do, then people would have called them hypocrites.
What happened is that they fell into sin. They were sinners, just like you and me. They got greedy and Jim did things he wasn't supposed to do. If someone dropped a million bucks in your lap, would you really be able to handle it? Honestly? Don't you think you'd get dollar signs in your eyes too? Not everyone can handle that much money, in fact most of us probably can't.
Just a little food for thought.

Of course and so did many other Americans do the same, some get caught and some still embezzle.
Point is...look around you, most that have the money cry that they don't have enough, they are unhappy on the inside and need more material things to try to keep them happy and most would rather take it to their grave. Look at the folks that have little or no money and they live a more fruitful life, not lavished, but they are grateful for what they do have and are more giving to others around them.

Yes. From what I have read about Tammy none off this was her idea. Jim and other people in the organization told her to cry and carry on saying "Jim and Tammy really need ya." She was following orders.
Jim has another show with his new wife and is at it (money) again. The show is filmed I think it was said at a restaurant in Branson, MO.
I have seen the show late at night and don't remember his new wife's name but I believe "Jim and whats her name really need ya."

Oh yes! They were minted due to the feelings of guilt and false hope they perpetuated... Tammy's false eyelash budget alone could have fed a developing country for a year - let alone what she spent on nails and liposuction.

They did enjoy the good life, but I doubt if anyone in America died of starvation. Jim paid his debt to society, so get over it.

Yes they did, and remember that many others did too. There are people like this in every occupation, even this, sad too isn't it?
