The word Trinity does not appear because it is a man-made doctrine. You are so right in your having doubts about it's origin.
Acts 3:13 states--"The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, glorified His Servant Jesus, whom you delivered up and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let Him go." (New King James Version)
If Jesus is God's servant, then they cannot be equal.
At John 14:28 it states: "You have heard Me say to you, ‘I am going away and coming back to you.’ If you loved Me, you would rejoice because I said, ‘I am going to the Father,’ for My Father is greater than I."
If the Father is greater than Jesus, they cannot be equal. -No mention is made of the holy spirit, because it is God's active force, not a person.
This is why many believe in such man-made doctrines:
2 Timothy 4:3-4---" For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables."

Accepting or not accepting The doctrin of The Trinity has nothing to do with anyones Salvation. But The Trinity is very much a part of The Bible... it is The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit... and last I looked they are all in The Bible. And mentioned many times in fact

I am so glad to have the opportunity to rebuke you before all .You are a deceiver and an anti-christ and one to be avoided.God word is very clear on this matter. You teach things that you ought not to teach . You are a spot on His bride and lover of mischief and lies.Trinity is something that the catholic church called the Godhead. It means Three. However they did not come up with The Father , The Son ,and The Holy Ghost. That makes three.Jesus commanded that we be baptist in these three names.I know you and that you only baptize in the name of Jesus using the scripture in Acts 2:38 were Peter tells them to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus. But for them to be baptized only in the name of Jesus would not have been the way Jesus commanded them to do it.Whosoever trangresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God.He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ , he hath (both) the Father and the Son.If there come any unto you and bring not this doctrine receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed.2 John 1:9-10. And by the way I'm not Catholic so don't blame them for this.I know there will be those who think me a radical but they thought the same of many others.False doctrines and false teachings need to be stopped. No wonder the world view of us is so low.

''No one would question that Philo was a Jewish monotheist; yet here we have an exposition perfectly compatible with the Trinity: the Father, The Creative Power (the Son, or the Word), and the Royal Power (the Holy Spirit). Similarly, in the apocryphal Baruch 4:22, we read:
For I have set hope for your salvation on the Eternal One; and joy has come to me from the Holy One, at the mercy which will soon be present for you from your Eternal Saviour.
Now we move to passages concerned directly with Wisdom.
Ecclesiasticus 1:1-4 All wisdom cometh from the Lord, and is with him for ever. The sand of the sea, and the drops of the rain, And the days of eternity who shall number? The height of the heaven and the breadth of the earth And the deep and wisdom, who shall search them out? Wisdom hath been created before all things, And the understanding of prudence from everlasting.
The book of Ecclesiasticus was written by Jesus the son of Sirach in about 100 B.C. It describes Wisdom as having been "created before all things," as being "from everlasting" and as comparable to "the days of eternity." In this we are in harmony with the Trinitarian view of Jesus as created or generated by the Father eternally, that is, finding his source in the Father and having no existence apart from Him, yet also having existed eternally as God does. Sirach writes further:
I came forth from the mouth of the Most High, And covered the earth as a mist. I dwelt in high places, And my throne is in the pillar of the cloud. Alone I compassed the circuit of the heaven, And walked in the depth of the abyss. (Ecclesiasticus 24:3-5)
He created me from the beginning of the world, And to the end I shall not fail. (Ecclesiasticus 24:4)''

2 Timothy 4:2-4
02-Preach THE WORD; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and doctrine.
03-For the time will come when they WILL NOT ENDURE SOUND DOCTRINE; but after their OWN LUSTS shall they heap to themselves teachers, HAVING ITCHING EARS;
04-And they shall TURN away their ears from THE TRUTH, and shall be TURNED TO FABLES.

OK , Let's forget about the new testament.
The Jews did labor over the plurality of God.
If you get any concordance and look up everyplace it says God ., LORD or Lord you may be surprised at a few different names.
In Genesis where it says , In the beginning God, the word is ELOHIM, which means Gods. God said let us make man in OUR own image,
Also in Genesis 18 When God, (ELOHIM) appeared to Abraham , He looked up and three men stood before him and it was God. Later God said the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is Great and I shall go see to the cry of it. The other two turned and went and Abraham stood yet before God. There are many more in both testaments, I don't want to write a book. The name Trinity does not appear, but there are three that bare witness in heaven, aren't there

Yeah the Trinity is kinda hard for me to comprehend sometimes.
I figure if Jesus is God, and the Holy Spirit is sent by Jesus to help us, then that would be 3 aspects of God. But like the Holy Spirit is also 7 different spirits...so. It doesn't really matter to me, as long as they have the proper place in our hearts right?

I'd like to know too.
Let's see. There's God the Father. He's definitely God.
There's God the son. He's at least half-God. No, wait, if God is spirit, and Jesus is God's son, the spirit part of Him can be all spirit, it doesn't have to be just half spirit. So I guess Jesus the son can be all God too.
But wait, if Jesus was a flesh and blood man, God would have had to create the genetic material necessary to complete the half that Mary contributed with her ovum, so the flesh and blood part of Jesus would be 100% man, Ok, so Jesus is all God and all man.
But that Holy Ghost guy, there's the kicker. How can God be diveed up in two. But the spirit was seen descending upon Jesus when he was baptised, and it stayed with Him.
Ya know, it's just hard to understand.
I'll ask God when I meet Him.

The trinity is certainly spoken of in the Bible. Here's one example:
Matthew 28:19 (New International Version)
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit
