Jer 30:7
Dan 12:1-2
1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.(KJV)
1 Cor 15:20-24
20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.
24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.(KJV)
Joel 3:13-14
13 Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great.
14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.(KJV)
Matt 13:37-43
37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.
41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.(KJV)
Rev 14:12-20
12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.
15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.
16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.
17 And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.
18 And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.
19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.(KJV)
1Thes 4:13-17
13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.(KJV)
John 6:44
44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.(KJV)
Any way on with the length of the tribulation. The Great Tribulation doesn’t start until the abomination of desolation, which is mid-way through the one week covenant (Dan 9:27). "For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be." (Mt 24:21)
Matt 24:15-21
15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.(KJV)
Looking into Revelation will only confirm that the Great Tribulation only lasts for 3 1/2 years.

Daniel chapter 9, verses 20 through 27. Notice that 69 of the 70 weeks of years have been fulfilled, with one week of years (7 years) remaining. Verse 27 speaks of he (Antichrist) confirming a covenant with many (including Israel) which will start the final week of years into motion. At the midpoint Antichrist will break the covenant, or treaty, and the period known as the Great Tribulation will start.
Also in the book of Daniel, starting at chapter 11 verse 36, through chapter 12 verse 4, is a discussion of some of the things which will occur during these times
Matthew chapter 24 is another source. Verse 15 speaks of the same occurance as Daniel 9:27; the abomination of desolation.
The book of Revelation, chapters 6-19 discuss the things which will happen in those seven years. It is a hard read, but you get the idea of what is going to happen.
Notice that the seven years is split into two 3.5 periods. The first part, which is bad but not as bad as the second part. The second half, the Great Tribulation, is when God is judging the earth and pouring out the seven bowls of wrath (Revelation chapter 16).
My opinion is that the first four seals and all seven trumpets occur during the first 3.5 years of the seven year end time period, with the seventh trumpet being the rapture of the Church. The last 3 seals and all seven bowls of wrath occur during the last 3.5 years, the Great Tribulation.
At the midpoint, Satan is permanently restricted from heaven and cast to earth, where he is really ticked off. The nation Isreal is sent to a place of protection for the duration of the Great Tribulation because they are not saved, and God wants to protect them. Antichrist takes power and rules over the entire world for 3.5 years, instituting the mark of the beast which everyone must take in order to buy or sell anything. However, anyone who takes the mark of the beast will go to hell. Tough choice, that. I also believe that the rapture occurs at the midpoint, a mid-tribulational view of the rapture, if you are familiar with the theories of imminent return (pre-trib. view), mid-trib (mine) and post tribulational view (everything in Revelation happens before the rapture, not as common a view as the other two)

The Book of Revelation is a good one. Get a concordance and look up the word tribulation. Or check out the web, using the words 7 years tribulation.

No.
Because the tribulation isn't a seven year period.
The tribulation is almost over. November 5, 2006 may be the first day of the 7 Trumpets in Revelation, but I'm not entirely sure about the date.
There's a book you can read for free online, I'll give you the hyperlink:

hi Roy! do no longer hear to those adult men. they suspect that stuff with the aid of fact they study a e book called the "Watchtower" that their leaders say is truthfully scripture. The a hundred and forty four,000 that they are speaking approximately is a scripture in Revelation that they twisted out of context to no end. The a hundred and forty four,000 are the quantity of Jews which would be witnesses in the process the tribulation AFTER the rapture. in case you prefer to learn it extra basically study Revelation. As for the guy-made holiday journeys, no God by no skill stated to rejoice them, yet He by no skill advised us to hug teddy bears the two. that does no longer mean that we ought to continuously no longer! The trinity is a tough difficult difficulty. study John a million:a million-14. this is truthfully the trinity in a nutshell. The trinity isn't stated interior the Bible, this is right. yet that doesn't make the belief of the trinity an much less actual. approximately their Bible...it rather is carefully distinctive. basically that one passage i discussed above, they replaced thoroughly to make the doctrine of the trinity non-existent in that passage. they alter it from "And the understanding replaced into with God, and the understanding replaced into God" to "And the understanding replaced into with God, and the understanding replaced into A God." it rather is kinda sickening in case you question me. wish this helps guy. the different questions, enable me comprehend.

Revelation is the primary source, though there are cross-references in the 4 gospels and the Pauline books as well as several OT books. The first cross-reference is the Egyptian famine under Joseph in Genesis.

It is not in the Bible. The only way you can possibly get it is to twist the meanings of words and make something where nothing is.

Do not learn theology from the "Left Behind" books and movies. It is fiction with no solid Biblical foundation.
