If people don't belive in Jesus, but they belive in a higher power and they live their life in the best way they possible can, (they save lives because they are a doctor or nurse, they are the teacher that doesn't give up on their students, their a social worker). Why according to Christians are these people going to hell just because of there belives. Especially if their god is such a forgiving god?

The soul is the breath and body combined (genesis 2:7). So biblically, the breath and the body leaves the soul into a dormant state when dead.

(For Jews, Christians, and Muslims)
He has emotions.
He is prone to jealousy.
He is a social creature.
He is judgmental.
This list could go on and on.

How could a entity that is all knowing and all powerful be so human like? Do you ever wonder if God is so human like because he is a product of human desires and human reasoning?

Are there any persons on Earth who have PhD's in Biology or Genetics who do not believe human beings evolved from a common ancestor?

If so, who are they? Perhaps they could come to yahoo answers and give us a credible scientific explanation as to why its scientifically impossible for a human being to evolve from a common ancestor.

I really respect religion and religious people, I do truely, I love you guys, ok, but scientifically saying Genesis 1:24 and something can't come from nothing and Lucy is a midget and 2nd Law of Thermodynamics - its just not really credible, mm k, I'm sorry I really do think there might be someone intelligent who could explain to us here why in scientific language the Theory of Evolution is not the credible explanation for the Origin of the Species.

Also, if you have any proof of God or empirical evidence, I'd treasure it and fall to my knees and pray to her who is your God.

jesus and everyone of the first christians believed that the person should choose himself to be baptised if he wanted to. now mostly babys are baptised because it's believed they'll land in hell if they die unbaptised at birth. what do you think is right?

If you can't name one thing, you are probably not using critical thinking skills at all, and make a perfect sucker for the collection plate.

Or compared to other religions? Or Atheists?
I am just guessing, but I would bet that the larger the group, the lower the average.

God created the world in six days. After a while he flooded the world because he was pissed off at all the bad people. Left Naoh and his family to repopulate a destoyed world. Can you hear the banjo music?

He became man thus he was the father and son simultaneously so that he could suffer for our sins. In 2 days (yes its two days for people with rudimentary math skills) he rose from the dead and we eat crakers and grape juice to remember this?

Boys and girl I'm only scatching the tip of the iceberg. Jesus said , many are called but few will buy this horsecrap.

To most of the worlds population this sounds absurd. I know, Satan has got a hold of me and I can't see the light.

I have left my church because when I needed them most, they did nothing. I asked, but they were uncomfortable and didn't understand. My daughter was assaulted sexually by another girl and when I told them, they all shyed away and no one called, no one gave me any spiritual guidance, no one did anything. I know that people are fallable and that it is God that I need to seek. I would like to find a church that believes in supporting those in need. Do you know of any??
