Oxygen is the animating force for most animal life on Earth. The soul is a manmade concept used by religions to render humans somehow immortal.

There's no such thing as a soul.

The breath of life is how we take in oxygen and expel carbon dioxide.

Agreed. My belief is that the soul enters the body when the first breath is drawn.
