Seeing towards where the world's now going, e.g rapes, frauds, murders, adultery, etc.., what would happen if no limits were imposed by religions like Judaism, Islam, Jewish, Hinduism, Buddhism, etc..?

I have to write a paper on the distinctives of Keswick. If you are knowledgeable on the subject, please let me know if you think this is fair:

1)Sanctification is by counteraction not mortification. The sin nature is not destroyed but remains fully wicked. The only way to walk in holiness then, is too deny inner dependency and surrender to a counteracting influence, namely, the Holy Spirit.
2)In general there are two groups of Christians: Carnal and Victorious. The former have been justified but have not learned or at least maintained the walk of surrender and are thus left to rely on their own impotent resources. The later, surrender, walk by faith, and enjoy true sanctification (though not perfectionism).
3)In terms of growing in Sanctification, one must aim to reject self effort, and ascend to the victorious Christian life offered by full surrender to the Holy Spirit. Secondary means of grace (i.e. Word, prayer, sacraments, etc.) are not dismissed, but main stress is surrender

Did the founding fathers take the democratic idea from the native americans and had similar mystic beliefs but refused to acknowledge to put women at the top of the pyramid. Is this also spiritually significant?

Also, did women manage to work their way up regardless?

Just an idea I had.

I think that if we had no "religion", there would be NO WAR. But then doing away with religion would create war. If no one had a religion, and everyone were ENLIGHTENED to accept everyone else regardless of their socioeconomic status or soiciocultural upbringing, there would be PEACE ON EARTH! What do you think would create PEACE ON EARTH and GOODWILL TOWARD MEN?

When I say "WE" I mean every damn human being on this planet.

There are between 30 and 50 million species. Take two of each, that's 60-100 million animals. Let's say he was working 24/7, moving 100 animals per minute (which is pretty damn fast, but we'll give him a little lee-way since the big guy was backing him). By my calculations it would have taken him between 416.7 and 694.4 days to complete his task. How did he keep the ones on the boat alive during that amount of time? How did he cope with the huge amount of fecies produced? Where did he keep the food for all these animals? How did the animals gather in one location from all parts of the globe? How would a boat this large hold under its own weight, much less be sea-worthy? Where did all this excess water necessary for a flood come from and go to? Why is there no aerchaeological evidence of a worldwide deluge of water? Do I really need to go on? These are fairy tales people. They hold as much fact as Zeus chunking lightning bolts down from Olympus.

b) To ensure one’s actions promote good karma
c) To get praise from others (for being humble, doing good, etc.)
d) To get private satisfaction from the idea of helping others, doing good, being spiritual, living a purposeful/meaningful life, being ‘selfless’, and/or being humble

A) Do you spend more time studying the tarot/scrying/runes/crystals/etc or out in nature?

B) How does your choice benefit you? Do you feel you should be spending more time on the other?

Myself: I spend a great deal of time outside just listening. I could be gardening, meditating on my deck, watching the birds, or even flying kites. I almost always learn something or have some lesson reinforced. Nature has a lot to teach me and it seems to be where I learn the most about the Goddess and God.

But, sometimes I think I should be working more of Tree of Life meditations/exercises and working with the Tarot. I have learned a great deal from them in the past but I have difficulty getting myself charged up to do the more “academic” stuff these days. It’s a season and I’ll swing back the other direction sometime. Mom is pretty good at teaching me about balance.
