No, that would be a horrible thought. God loves ALL his children. Just because bad things happen while your on earth does not mean you are being punished. Rather tested or even showing you to change and life is worth living. Tragedy is a reminder to take off the blinders and wake up.

Depression is a thorn in the flesh, just like people who are psychically gifted. Both give a tool to the devil to hurt you with, but you have come out of it stronger than before and that's what counts, and that's what God wants from you. For every one like you that made it I can name many others who have given up the difficult test.

I have been diagnosed as bi-polar. It is an illness like all others, but it does make you wonder about your self-worth. But, loving friends and family have shown that I am worthy of something better.
1 Peter 5:7 says that we should throw all our anxiety upon God, because he cares for us.
And I have seen evidence of that in my own life. (smile)
