Is it wrong to have WHITE PRIDE?

every race has a dirty history. who cares. stupidity is not something that is dependent upon race, there are hundreds of stupid people of all different races.

Tough question. I would say that it is poisonous to have White Pride...but I also feel it is poisonous to have ANY Pride due to race. This causes one to beleive that their race is superior to another, which is not the case. The above posting shows that this is true - why is it that blacks and asians can have their own clubs, but whites cant?? I remember in college, they would have posters up advertising parties - in Chinese language, so no one but Chinese people could read it. How fair is that??

Remember everyone - we all evolved from the same place, therefore we are all equal, regardless of the color of our skin.

In general i would say pride is a dangerous thing.

Since this is in the relgious section- as a Christian i believe that we can value things but we are never to value anything above God. i have noticed that people that are very ethno-centric tend to put their culture above God. There are races whose cultures have some "racist" ideologies and i think people who know the Lord are to remember they are followers of Christ before they are: white, black, latino, asian, etc.

Pride in general is a dangerous thing. If WHITE PRIDE or any other pride- is at the expense of offending others- or causes others to stumble- i'd say it's not a good thing...

Yeah you can be proud of being white..it is just sad though when people do say that they are proud of being white, it sounds like a racial comment somehow(to the people who hear the white people say they are proud). I hardly hear anyone say that they are proud to be white--I dont know if they fear that just because they are white, they fit into the " white people are racist" stereotype and if they go around saying "white power" they would automatically be thought of as a clan member.

If we had WET(White Entertainment Television) we'd be racists. If we

a White Pride Day you would call us racists. If we had White History
Month, we'd be racists. If we had any organization for only whites to

We have a Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, a Black Chamber of Commerce,
and
then we
just have the plain Chamber of Commerce. Wonder who pays for that?
If we had a college fund that only gave white students scholarships,
you
know we'd be racists.
There are over 60 openly proclaimed Black Colleges in the US, yet if
there were
"White colleges" that would be a racist! college .
In the Million Man March, you believed that you were marching for your
race and rights.
If we marched for our race and rights, you would call us racists.
You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and orange, and you're not
afraid to announce it.
But when we announce our white pride, you call us racists.
You rob us, carjack us, and shoot at us. But, when a white police
officer shoots a
black gang member or beats up a black drug-dealer running from the law
and pos! ing a
threat to society, you call him a racist.
I am proud. But, you call me a racist.
Why is it that only whites can be racists?

You can have what ever color pride you want but over all it is dumb you should be proud for your self not every other SOB in your race because not every color is proud of their race. Thats why there are Wiggers, Blacksicans, and so forth. What would it matter though nobody cares if your proud anyway.

More accurately, get past the shame of early Africa. They captured they own people to sell them as Slaves, mostly to the Portuguese at first. They were used as chattel in sugar plantations on the island of Maderia in the 1450's.

There is not much to be proud of our race for now. Sure the past has some greatness and if we reverse this path of racial suicide we are on the future holds great potential. But now our people are pitiful and without racial loyalty.

It is wrong to think and act like you are better than other people because you are white and they are not. Its certainly not wrong to be proud of your heritage, just wrong if you think that it makes you superior.

I think it's silly to be proud of color... any color. That isn't what makes us different. To think color is what divides us just sounds so childish. Like getting upset cause the kid next to you took the purple crayon and left you with the blue one. *Sigh*
