Baker's that took money from his Church?

Did this man every repent, I heard in prison he did, is this true?

Did Tammy Faye Baker, keep all the money from the church that her husband took?

What Church did they belong too?

What state was this in?

Good he did repent and turn his life back around on the right track..........

Televangelists Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker (two "k's") were the leaders of PTL ministries (back in the 80's), which they said stood for "Praise the Lord" but other joked really meant "Pass the Loot." PTL was based in North Carolina.
Greed and a sex scandal eventually did them in. He claims to have repented, but how do you ever know? Tammy didn't walk away with much money, but she used her minor celebrity to her advantage and has made a few bucks. She eventually divorced Jim and remarried.

Only he can answer that question as to whether he repented or not. I am sure Tammy Faye lived off the moneyTHEY stole.(Why she did not go to jail with him, I don't understand). I am not sure what the name of their church was, but their TV show was The PTL Club and it was in Fort Mill, SC. I have been to that building for another church event, I am not sure who took over the building after they vacated it.

I think he did repent but I never knew what he did with the money. I am not sure but I think that the FBI and the IRS confiscated all the money
