To bury the body (without embalming),
within 24 hours of death (or before sundown of the death day?)
in a plain, unvarnished, unadorned casket???

Why is this so? and . . .is a Jewish cemetery preferred?
Is cremation allowed?

Thank you - for sharing this information . . .

Other than viruses and maybe some flesh eating bacteria, He hasn't invented anything new in a while. I hope He is feeling okay.

Is it only god that is allowed to create life or is it ok for humans to do it too?

My mom keeps trying to make me attend sunday school. Yesterday, after a long argument and telling her why I can't believe that stuff and why I shouldn't she called the preist! The preist actually came to my house and starting talking to me about god's love for me and stuff. I still stuck with my point of view and the preist changed his tone to a strangely kind voice and went into my kitchen. 'Want something to drink?' he asked..I agreed thinking this was a strange thing to ask and told him I would like a coke..he seemed to ignore the second part but hear the first...when he came back to the room he had a small cup of kool-aid. I took it cautiously but didn't drink yet. 'So...' he continued '...aren't you thristy?' As he said this I noticed him reaching into his robe and heard a small clicking sound like the lever of a pistol. I jumped out my window and ran and got on my friends computer...WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW??

Am I right? I have never heard of any other denomination say that they do this or believe in it. If some one of a different denomination is truely spiritual and close to God shouldn't they speak in it too? Your thoughtful answers please?

How you add to something that was not already there? If the church did not begin untill after pentecost does not that make the Gospel teachings void?

I download alot of documentary's to watch and this one popped up of this guy infilitrating a ceremony at some bohemian grove. Sounds germanic...I'm not real educated in this yet.
He thought it seemed real evil but at first I was concerned but not anymore, I guess I understand what that ceremony was about to some degree.
Anyone know what I'm talking about and willing to comment. Openmind here.
Also, what is bohemian?

I have read the bible through many times and it has always seemed to me that revelations is something of a hitchiker that used the scriptures to transport its message through to our time. Revelations seems very foreign to the rest of the scriptures.
What do you think?

I think it's so moronic when there are a bunch of skeleton closeted, jaded adult Christians who the religion of being "saved" is obviously for, and here they are telling good kids who were brought up in strict Christian homes, never go out, never do anything "sinful' at all and telling them they need to be born again, repent and they "fall short" of the glory, etc. etc.
I have heard kids saying, but I have nothing to repent really,---they have only lived a short time!and they havn't really LIVED, you know.--- to do the numerous wrong, say, their parents or other adults in their church have..... Do they want them to make it up or make a big deal out of minor shortcomings?
Is this just fear mongering on teens, notice how much emphasis they place on sexual immorality.... How about sloth and gluttony? 1 in 5 kids are now overweight or obese.
OUr kids are dying of diabetes and will have shortened life spans due to childhood obesity!!!

When I was about 13-17 years old, I attended and was very much committed to God. I never missed any church event, witnessed to everyone I met, and was filled with the holy spirit at an early age. I ready my bible every chance I got. I prayed for the gift of speaking in tongues, and I did it. I dinn't know I did at first, but then I became aware of it. Then about a year later, (still very much into the spirit) I was praying in church and a women began to speak in tongues, next thing I knew I was interpetting it. I don't know how it happend, or even what I was saying. (like an outter body experience) All I know is it was like it wasn't me, then when I "came" back, I was finishing saying, "Have peace my child, have peace." I went to a penecostal church. However, I never had anyone help me understand what was happening. I woulf like ot know more about how it happends, and any other information anyone might have.

I am an historian who inadvertantly proved, for myself, that the Bible, the Torah, and the Qur'an are all based on older religions that are based on lies fabricated in order to cow the people of any given society throughout history. Archialogical evidence finds very little to establish these religous books and geology all but disproves them.
So keep your faith based arguements to yourselves. I want cold hard evidence.
