I think God is very patient. If I was God the world would have came to an end long ago.

No God does not lack patience, mercy,compassion and forgiveness, and yes I would have been punished many times over if He had lacked any of the above.

If God had patience, he wouldn't require us to spend any of the short time we have on earth worshipping him.
If God had mercy or compassion, he would grant us the intelligence to live our lives without trying to force our religious beliefs on others.
If God had forgiveness, he would give us the ability to learn from our history so we could avoid repeating our worst mistakes over and over.

Its the religious leaders who lack patience, mercy, etc...they preach the wrath of God....and some do it so much that it makes me wonder how any of us could get into heaven because we have to be so perfect.

If there i such a thing or person, he's responsible for a lot of crap going on in this world. We just evolve the way we do. In all honesty i find the concept of god and religion ridiculously hard to believe. This worlds been here millions of years, science and evolution are the way forward

GOD lacks nothing. HE is what HE is. HE is perfection. HE makes up for what we are not. That is why HE gave HIS only Son to save us because we are not perfect....peace & love ~p~

What was missing from your presentation were the countless millions of innocents who who have perished. If you model your God along the lines of a "good king," then you have to account for his lapses also.
