orthodox judaism doesnt have much ways for women to participate. oh, the reasons they give are perfectly logical and not really sexist since a core belief of judaism is that women have no need to follow many of the commandments because they are innately closer to G-ds idea of perfection than men, but its still annoying and its not really relevant to modern life.

How many people claim to subscribe to it, but don't really understand it, or the God in which they purport to believe. Lots of so-called Christians live by the 'if it looks like a duck' theory of religion, and miss the boat entirely. Sorry for the mixed metaphors.) And yet these supposed Believers look down on anyone who doesn't do as they do, regardless that God said it is for Him to judge.
Also the fact that Christians eat their wounded.

all religions bother me because they all have rules that are not from the commandments so to me they are rules decided by some people.such as some Churches say no make-up.some say women can't wear pants, some allow the worshiping of idols and the bending of knees to objects. i could go on and on. my mother was a minister and visited many churches we were always under some form of criticism as kids from the different churches we visited.i think religion is a trap. i think serving God has nothing to do with religion. just my opinion.

Yes, absolutely. The theory that "God is in the driver's seat of our life" irritates me to no end! I am in no way anti-authority, and thus have no problem with doing as God says in the Bible. However to assert that God is in the driver's seat takes away all of our personal responsibility. If God is in the driver's seat, and I sin, isn't that God's fault? But the argument they make is that no, us sinning is when we reach over and try to take control back from God. It's sort of like they look at it in hindsight and say if we are doing right it is because God is driving us and if we do wrong it is because we try to do it ourselves. I think this is a very silly and ridiculous belief. I'm driving my own life, and I'll do so under the guidance of the Bible (which of course would include showing the path to salvation through Jesus).

I am bothered by how mine and most of the Christian religions have become so judgemental and single-issue minded. I am a pro-choice, liberal Catholic. I love the Church because of a lot of reasons, but it is very hard to condone the current close-mindedness of the leadership, from the Pope down to our bishop. The most exasperating thing is that I am not a minority in our Church. There are a lot of us that are pro-choice and liberal. We are TOO quiet.

What truly bothers me is when people judge it from a wordly standpoint, which of course is going to pervert the entire word of God into what Satan wants them to think it means. The root of evil is pride, pride is what got Satan kicked out of Heaven, he could not fight God by force, so he used guile instead, and with this he tricks the human race into believing what is bad is good and what is good is bad so that they forsake God. Don't get caught in his schemes.

OK. I don't like how we can't use birth control, or preventive methods for sex. I would rather prevent a birth before it starts than have a load of unwanted babies. And the fact that animals don't have souls. I wish they did, but I can't really disagree. It makes sense.

I was born and raised in the Catholic Church and I have a lot of questions about my faith. Why can't women be priest or preachers? Why can't priest marry, and do not say that it is because of money or Jesus because I have heard that before?

To answer this rent Monty Python's
"Meaning of life" and "Life of Brian" they do a pretty good job of blowing the Anglican/Catholic dogma out of the water.
