I have left my church because when I needed them most, they did nothing. I asked, but they were uncomfortable and didn't understand. My daughter was assaulted sexually by another girl and when I told them, they all shyed away and no one called, no one gave me any spiritual guidance, no one did anything. I know that people are fallable and that it is God that I need to seek. I would like to find a church that believes in supporting those in need. Do you know of any??

Look for a Calvary Chapel. I have been to many different churches and found I like this one the best. They are serious in their preaching strictly from the Bible. They don't sugar-coat it. They are non-denominational. They ALWAYS care for the congregation, no one shys away from anyone, or anything. There have been a few problems but they were delt with on the spot. God bless you and your daughter. I am so sorry this happened to her! I will pray for you!

Sweet heart, your gonna be a long time looking for a church that speaks the "True Word of God". You see in 324 CE there was this guy named Constantine. He was known for being oh... what was that... I don't know... Emperor of Rome. You see constantine is perhaps the second best, arguably the greatest, running very close to Hitler, con man in the history of mankind.

In 324 Constantine had defeated the Ruler of the eastern empire Licinius and turned christianity into the state religon of the roman empire. However the empire became divided because all of the sects of christanity running around rome claiming to know the true word of God. So Constantine, being of great political savvy arranged for most of the leaders of the christain faith to meet in Nicea. At the Council of Nicea, Constantine had one decree for the believers, "you leave here when you all agree." Most of them agreed (the rest were taken out back and dealt with) and they group came together and decided to create a christian canon. The ideal for the bible was born and would be edited to turn the Man, Jesus of Nazereth, into the Messiah, Jesus Christ over the next six years.

Oh yeah there was a war going on at the time with the Jews. So in order to minimize Jewish influence or the new faith, things had to be changed. So the day of Worship was changed to Sunday instead of the traditional sabbath and easter or "resurrection day" would be changed to the week after passover instead of one passover.

So you see there is no church today that knows the true word of god and the bible you have was nothing more then a political move to unify an empire almost 1700 years ago.

You are right when you say that people are fallable, but you have to understand that it those very same people that have created every single religion since mankind wondered "Why am I here?" till the present dibacle we have with Christanity and Islam.

Do yourself a favor and save that 10% and save up for a ticket to Amsterdam. That way you can actually enjoy life instead of hoping that there is something waiting for you in death.

Try the Universalist Unitarian Church on Hebron on the border of Carrollton and Lewisville. I have found them to be very good hearted and caring people.

Adam rather ought to have been the 1st human, because he noted something of advent, the form or advent of all the animal species. He might have had to be in a quickly deathless state for that to take place, of direction. Or he merely could have been the 1st person to have the non secular ability to comprehend good and evil sufficiently to wish God's teachings. We do exactly no longer understand for particular precise now, yet a great style of solutions are going to take transport of in the previous God is thru with us.

Instead of a church try a library or book club or something else where your mind can expand beyond superstitious myths.

There is no "True Word of God." Sorry. Religion is different for each individual, so just find what works.
