Back to before Jesus was martyred and prevent the advent of the christian faith. Wait, that would be pointless, since they would find some other nutjob to worship. Damn, I give up.

1800's. with electricity of course. I could feel more relaxed about owning 7 horses and driving a Ford 4x4 that gets 6 mpg. :)P At least them horses can average 15 miles per bale.

BTW: The future is not an option. We are living what has already been seen :) It can't be changed.

It's very tempting to say that I would go back to pre-WWI and try to prevent the assasination of Ferdinand because that is what sparked WWI. And the poor way the victors ended WWI set the stage for WWII and for a great whole lot of terrorism. However, it is quite possible that even having saved Francis Ferdinand, something else might have set things off. Hmmm. You can never be sure if what you do will help things or not.

I don't believe that we should mess with the big things like killing Hitler. It would change history too much, and who knows how things would really be today if all of that hadn't happened?

I'd be selfish and go back and play winning lottery numbers for millions so that I could have an easy life and take care of my loved ones.

I'd go back to when I was 18 and have a serious talk with myself about buying all the Microsoft and Dell stock I could get my hands on. I would now be a billionaire.

England and I'd like to visit the Globe theatre when Shakespear was presenting his plays originally. Several other times and places came to mind also, but were either campy or in countries where I wouldn't be able to speak the language.
Woodstock would be nice to visit too. LOL
I might try to save Kennedy (JFK) it would cause a big rift, but who knows.

I'd go back just far enough to buy stocks to make me mega rich, so I could use my cash for my devious Atheist purposes.

Why go back and do anything else? If you stopped a war, someone else would start another one. If you stopped Jesus, another religion would have taken the place of christianity. Going back for that stuff is fruitless.

I'd go back to the day Yahoo! first went public, buy a bunch of shares, and then cash out right before it crashed.
