Definitely!
My mother is a fanatic bible basher (excuse the term, but it's true)
Every Sunday she use to drag us all to church, not because of the religion, but so that everyone could see we're church going folk.
And then, as soon as the service was over (and they had praised Jesus and preaced love etc) She and the other ladies would stand in the back, having their tea (most churches give tea and biscuits after the service) and they'll gossip and say bad things about everyone they knew.
To me this is a prime example that holier than tou church goers can sometimes be the most evil people, despite the religion they preach.

Yes. Most definitely! I do believe that there are good & bad people everywhere as well as in the churches. It's too bad because I believe church should be the one place that you can go to find honest, good hearted people, but ,unfortunately, we're all human and sometimes you find the wannabees who are just there for show.

I agree that there are bad people in every church and religion, and that there are some good in some of them.

Of course there are. Being "good" or "bad" is beside the point. The question should be did they accept Christ.
However, there can be saved people in a church who are a pain in the neck.

Yes, there are good and bad people and behaviors in all walks of life.
It is our sin nature and will not change even when we become believers.
Unfortunately, it is also our human nature to link the bad to the particular organzation that they are affiliated with and thus thinking the whole organization is bad.

Oh, absolutely.
"Religion is an insult to human dignity. With or without it you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion." ~ Steven Weinberg, Freethought Today, April, 2000
