death is nothing but a moment's rest

Did you know...
God loves us so much He sent His Son Jesus
to this earth to pay for our sins so that
whoever puts their trust in Him will not
perish but have eternal life...?.. (Jn. 3:16)

Did you know we can be clean & free from the burden of guilt & condemnation of sin?

The Bible says, "If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness".

The Lord is compassionate toward us and very patient, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (2Peter 3:9)

Jesus is the lover of your soul...Will you return to him now and receive his
mercy and grace. He wants to set you free from guilt & sin and give you perfect peace .

Pray this prayer:
Heavenly Father; I admit I am a sinner; I havegone astray. I repent of sin now, and return to you. Please have mercy on me, forgive me my sins and wash me clean. I believe Jesus died for me, so I can be set free. Restore peace to me and give me the free gift eternal life; I ask in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Ok, I know this is really dumb, but.....
For those churches that have full immersion baptisms, and have a baptismal in the church, how is that done? Does the person wear clothes into the baptismal? Is this done in front of everyone, like right in the front of the congregation during a Sunday service?
I'm just really curious.

I just happened to be flipping through the channels today and found a televangelist with his head bowed in prayer. He was praying to God to heal a viewer, who he knew had to be sitting there watching. I rolled my eyes and turned the channel. Fifteen minutes went by and I decided to flip through once more ( I was looking for info on Steve Irwin's death --RIP).
The same preacher is now holding hands with a woman(wife?) praying for yet another ill viewer.
Who is believing this S@#+?!?!?!?!

Ok, so my last question asked this, but they ALL said waa waa that isn't evolution. My point? can evolution come without a beginning? I am saying the basics. I am going to ask again, how did the universe evolve? does that phrase it better???

Can you explain:
If the big bang created everything... what created the big bang? Was it made of matter or energy? Both if it is matter and if it is energy, it got there somehow.

What caused it to explode? nothing can move without something to move it, so what events led to the bang? and what came to that?

Whether the Big bang does or doesn't exist... how can there be no beginning? try to emagine the beginning... the big bang right? now, what came before that? something made an explosion or whatever it was that made us. how far back can human logic allow us to go?
The point? There must be a beginning, infinity didn't come before the bang.

You were trying to preach the word to someone that's not Christian (like you always so annoyingly do) and that person punched you in the face and told you to die? Would you still love them and try to help them find Jesus? Or would you get mad? What if they repeatedly punched you in the face for not leaving them alone? Would you still preach Jesus' love to them? What if they kicked you in your stomach? Would you be sitting there coughing up blood and telling them that Jesus was the Lord and saviour? Just wondering. I'm guessing you all would.

If you believe in God, have sinned in the past(but have asked for forgiveness over and over)and try to do good. What if you don't go to church? How do you truly know if you are going to Heaven or Hell? Some people say that they know when they die where they are going-but what if you don't know-how can I find out? I have sinned, I don't go to church but I believe in God and trust Him.

I posted a serious question, and asked nicely that people only answer to my question and not try to convert and preach to me. Then I get about 20 answers, not related to my question that told me to love Jesus. Why do Christians do this??? What is your problem? I am NOT Christian, and don't want to be. I believe he is, and I don't believe he would lead anyone to Hell. So here is the next question, Why would a loving God allow His word, to be mis-interpeted(the bible) as many people love to say. Why would he lead everyone away from the truth? Would he?

So what God is telling people don't murder another human, but it is okay to kill yourself. Thou shall not kill means don't kill another human. It says nothing in the bible about suicide, which makes it alright with God, that what I am talking about what is the point of living, when God says it is alright to take your life.

How can it be okay for a human to take his/her life. Suicide is not even a sin, wow. Why are we wasting time on earth, when you can go to heaven.

as a christian parent should u watch who they your kids mess with hang out with. would u check te room for stuff if u knew something was going on like like them act strange listen to a ferak like marilyn manson.

i was atheist once from ages 15 trough 18 . today jesus loves u jesus died for u on the cross shed his blood to wsh away our sins satan wants us to spend eternity in hell.
for whosever shall call upon the name of te lord shallbe saved, romans 3-23 for all have sinned come short of the glory of god.

turn to jesus today before its to late revelation 20-14 and 15 and death and hell where cast into the lake of fire this is the second death whosever ws not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

This question is not here to make you believe in God at the moment, this is to show you error in evolution.

Wow, Based on my last posting i have found that there are alot of people who have strong views about this subject. So lets answer questions. First of all, this forum is not meant to attack or disregard your feelings... just to stir. Secondly, I am not presuming things, Faith- biblical says "faith is beliving in what we cannot see or hoping in things yet to come". With that being said... all i am asking for is a responce to say, why is it that people use their emotions to dictate their apoligetics (or reason for their faith)? I am not looking to be told that i am arrogant or pias... i am just looking for reasons why it is that many people seem to not be able to say that God does not exist... the answer should be simple... I know people and situations are different but ultimately why cant we say the things that may prove that God exists. For me... my daughter is one... many people may say it is by chance, but genetically it is amazing how people are formed, to me dont think it's luck.
