I don't know much bad about the Ozz or the other one. But I have grave concerns about Manson.
I mean I don't even want to go into it. But he is one sick puppy and I don't think he has any business in the public forum at all. Porn and sadomasochism should be banned from the Internet and the planet.

Don't worry about it. When I was young, we listened to Alice Cooper - the man who practically invented shock rock. Marylin Manson is the new Alice Cooper in many ways. Talented, imaginative, and a good person. And more have come up since; you are a bit behind the times.
You can have your Jesus. You can abandon music too. Don't forget to abandon dancing. With 'Elvis the Pelvis' through Britney Spears, it's been fun. Can't have that!

I think you need to check out what your kids are doing and be involved. Some music out there I really do believe is not good for kids and a parent should step in and say, sorry, you're too young for that. But, there does come a time when the kid grows up and as a parent you need to be able to step back and let them make their own decisions even if you don't really approve of them.

It's not the music per se, it's the lyrics that glorify sin and don't have a place for God in them. If you look at the Free Stuff page on my web site you can find some links to Christian music and some of them have rock or metal music behind the lyrics. One group called Apologetix actually does song by people like Ozzy or Metallica but they have totally different lyrics.

My family has deep faith. I'm a retired radio broadcaster (Heavy-Metal Rock Jock) and my each member of my family listens to what they want....except rap. My wife listens to Christian radio, my oldest daughter (23) listens to Classic Rock, 15 year old son likes my music, 13 year old daughter listens to easy listening, and my 7 year old son likes Country. Regardless of what each of us listens to, we all know where the church is located and how to get there. Ozzy is not a "Satan Worshipper" in fact, at the end of every concert he tells the crowd "God bless you all, we love you, goodnight. The "Prince of Darkness" thing is just a gimmick. It's that gimmick that shot him up to stardom and sold the records that made him wealthy. Just like Alice Cooper, KISS, David Bowie (Ziggy Stardust), Rob Zombie, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and just to top it off, Marilyn Manson is Catholic.
To sum things up, that's my thoughts except for one more...pertaining to your question, I've never seen a worse butchering of the English language than that which I have seen in your question.

Your faith must be very weak if you can't tolerate it being challenged. Artists like Marilyn Manson do what artists are supposed to do: they create art that challenges our beliefs and our perceptions.
Would you try to forbid people to listen to a presentation by an Islamic cleric, or a Jewish Rabi? People who worship Satan, or people who don't worship anything at all, or people of any faith, are just people, exactly like Christians. I find it increasingly annoying that Christians feel that their faith can only survive if they forbid their children from being exposed to anything else.

""should your kids listen to heavy metal music and men like marilyn manson ozzy gropus like kizz?""
Interesting question.
Only if you wanted your children indoctrinated with trash.
Most parents do not care one way or another. They join in!
The Training Films called TV are also in the same bracket-- parents watch along with the kids.
FREE CHOICE!

music plays a vital role in the human body. There are instances that even music has cured chronic illness-Therefore listening to heavy metal/ Rocks etc. would only affect the child's mental health. I personally feel that this will make the child violent.

Kids under the age of 18 should be more closely monitored, which includes the music that they listen to. Young children shouldn't be listening to heavy metal or rap.

As any good parent would answer, YES. Guide them and prepare them with all the tools to become the best person they can be. Monitor what they watch, listen, read and who they hang out with. "Bad associations, spoil good habits." It's really our job as a parent to try our best, with Jesus's help of course. :)
