I know I'm gonna make some people mad here and that's seriously not my intention. This is just something that came to mind...I'm not trying to be inflammatory.

If God so loved the world that he gave his son who died for our sins, why then would He consider abortion a sin if the one and only reason for it was because the mother's life was in danger due to the pregnancy? God allowed for his son to be sacrificed; a mother who's life is in danger is also making a sacrifice and allowing her child to be sacrificed. What is the difference other than Jesus's death was for the whole world where as this child's death might be only for the mother?

This is the first time I have heard of this, what is this? Is this real or a joke? How long has this been around and who started it?

Seriously, this is the first place I have heard of this term....forgive me if this is a joke and I just didn't know.

Thanks!

I can't recall a person ever going there and coming back to talk about it. Seems like it might not be that bad of a place. Sure, that little book says bad things about it, but it seems like you should experience things firsthand to judge.

I mean, it could be a party, right?

Hi there,
I have been following a few of the Yahoo'ers on here and I have seen a tremendous amount of people with their views towards God and then those with the views lack there of. Why is it that those who want to prove that there is no God wont prove it. When I say prove it, i dont mean that they should talk about how war is wrong or how killing is bad but a true statement about God, not man, not how people react but the true nature of God. I do not mean how bad a life is but something that is not effected by man, but life. When explaining their faith (pro or con) they would hit the nail on the head not about how Jesus gives them fuzzy wuzzies but how life is truly effected with god there. Why cant we get past the crap in life about biases and emotions and come to a point that truly stands the test of time. I am curious if any one can come up with something irrefutable one way or the other. I am truly interested and I think there will really be some decent answers.

Was it perfect before with God and the angels when we were not yet created? Was there free will for the angels? If yes? Then why Lucifer rebelled against God? I know it's his pride but was it perfect before "no sin, no bad thought or intention"? Then It might happen again in the New heaven and New Earth in the end of this world according to the revelations. When we are in a new state of being with God. There might be some guy who will be filled with pride and rebelled again. Remember eternity is a long time or no time? Something is bound to happen.

Before answering this question, please understand that the question is not "are Muslims bad people." This is a question about the religion itself. Islam only promotes being nice to other Muslims, not to mankind. And how can a "prophet" who raped and murdered so many innocent people be a hero? I'm just curious.

I am gay, and I need to be straight. I know that the Bible says that homosexuality is wrong. I talked with my youth pastor, and he said that I am right in seeking to change my orientation, and that I am getting closer to Jesus in this trial. The best option to defeat Satan seems to be the ex-gay ministry... but I don't know much about that. Is there any sort of online course (or assistance, at least) that I can use to help me become pure and Christlike?

Thank you all so much! May God bless you all.

I tried to save him and tell him about Jesus, but he won't listen.
And I specifically remember that the Bible says that if you don't believe in Jesus, you're gonna burn.
Now how do I spare him that cruel fate? Is it his fault if he doesn't know and can't read?
