I honestly do not know. Many seem to think otherwise.

Hey, what a litany of quotes from the Koran. I would suggest you do read the Koran, but make sure you have a chronology with it. There are so many conflicting passages in the book that it does make it difficult to understand at times, particularly as it is not presented in chronological order. Suffice to say that when Muhammad was in Mecca, most of his writing were pretty peaceful and would be understood by all to convey peace and harmony. However, when he was forced to flee Mecca and ended up in Medina, that's when the vitriolic and vengeful side came out and when the murdering and intolerance came to the fore. Most scholars apply the laws of abrogation i.e. when you get 2 conflicting passages, the one that was written second is the one that counts and in the case of the Koran, this is where the whole version of Islam as a peaceful religion starts to fall apart. ahmed Mo2nis falls into the usual trap of only partially quoting Koran verses out of context in order to make the religion look good. Notice when he quotes chapter 5 verse 32 he stops short of the punishments for spreading mischief in the land, because it lists being murdered, crucified, having bits of the body cut off. Like the poor guy in Afghanistan who faced the death sentence because he converted from Islam to Christianity. Oh and don’t forget all you non monotheistic faiths, when Islam takes over the world you will be given the choice of converting to Islam or facing execution.
Suffice to say that recently in Australia two men where taken to court by the Islamic council under anti hate speech laws for being non-Muslim and quoting from the Koran. When they stood up in court and said in their own defense that all they had done was read the following passages from the Koran the Islamic Lawyer objected as he said the the defendants would be vilifying Muslims in open court. The judge asked how this could be as they were only reading from the Koran. The Islamic Lawyer said that under the law, the truth was no defense, which was an admission in open court that the Koran was full of hate speech.
Those of us that have truly studied Islam rather than taking everything on face value as preached by the Imams, have reached a logical conclusion that there is little or no truth in the myth of moderate Islam and we await the day when most Muslim stop lying to themselves and other and just admit what many of us already know. It is a religion of simmering violence. At least then we can all move forward honestly.

There are a lot of christians who have been martyred for the cause of Islam. Even under Islamic law in Islamic nations. And ones with the secret police (like Egypt). If ones fall away from Islam to Christianity, Christian is given 3 chances to convert back to Islam.
If people of the book (Christians & Jews) pay the extra tax humbled by a Muslim, they don't have to convert to Islam. But they are considered lesser people & have less rights.
Islam, is purposed to be the religion of the nations. So their agenda is to spread it globally. In Islam there is no Israel.
So Islam I believe is possibly the beast or false prophet written about in Revelation. They are the religion who cut off heads in the news today.
As far as Muslims go. There are a lot of nice Muslims who listen to their conscience and abide by their land laws.
Thanks WayneA, I lookes up the web site. There was confirmation of my suspicion of Lucifer being the God of Islam.

No, the Koran claims that Jesus and Moses were also prophets of God. It treats Christianity better than Christianity treats it. You must not judge Islam by the actions of those working for Islamist governments, these people pervert the teachings of Islam for their own selfish purposes. Also, god killed entire cities full of people, every religion besides Buddhism contains murder by their gods.

Islam is a religion of peace. It is just as "bad" or "good" as any other religion. As a matter of fact, its God is the same God as that in Christianity and Judaism.
Unfortunately, people commit atrocities in the name of religion all the time (think the Holocaust, the Crusades), but the fallible humans do not reflect the religion itself (as you mentioned).

Many followers of most other religions would say that. I haven't heard most other religions say the same thing about buddhism. Opinions arise for a reason.

Islam is a true religion like Christianity; they both worship the One True God and teach the same divine lesson of selfless love.

YES, extremely bad !! islam teaches to persecute and kill non-belivers, and to absolutely deny it, because muslims see these things as honorable, but deny it and say exactly the opposite to hide the true face of their filthy faith. This is called Taquyya (lying to non-belivers to soften their hearts and to hide the true face of islam) To us it's murder and rape and paedophilia, to them it's something honorable that their retarded prophet instructed them to do, but they will never ever admit that !! Still they will threaten you with beating you up, death etc etc for it !!

If you think about it, is any religion actually "good"? In the past most religions have gone around killing innocents in the name of God. Take the catholics for instance, they killed thousands of Pagans because of their different beliefs. Think about it for one second, although Islamics do kill people they are doing it because its what they believe. I don't believe the religion itself is bad but the way it can be interpruted, especially by extremists, in a bad way.

from the dead? The prophet (what did he prophesied that has come true?) Mohamed said no!

All people do evil . its what is your grading scale.
You will know them by their fruit !
