If a baby is born to a Christian mother and a non-christian father, wil the baby be considered Chirstian? Is it the same in all the different groups (Catolic, Mormon, ect...)? Does it differ from country to country?

Does the rat race seem unnatural to you? We get up, go to work for metal and paper, pay bills, and continue it all endlessly? I think that animals have the better life in some ways. The Native Americans did too. They worked but it was all for the tribe. They saw where it was going and for what.

Ephesians says that we should imitate Christ, but most people do not. Instead, they look the very opposite of Jesus...they look like the world. If you are a Christian, are you trying your best to look like Christ, or do you find yourself looking more like the world?

Isaiah 64: 8 says that God is the potter and we are the clay. It is God's job to mold us to what He wants us to be. Often though we try to take control of our lives and become the potter instead of the clay. My question for you is simple. Are you the clay? Or do you often try and take contol and become the potter?

I am very happy with the good explanations that people have posted on my last two questions. But the better the answer, the more it slips into describing the divine. That the big bang came from another dimension or dimensions or by unknown forces. I congratulate you on your explanations.

So time must have been created with the bang. It is starting to sound like a non-physical being at the other end doesn't it? Why can't it be a god? I am not saying that you must believe in MY God, but it sounds logical that something was at work behind all that.

And if time was created with the bang, how could this have happened at all? there must have been a partial timelike state when it was starting to emerge. The peices of your explanations fit well, but they each lack small parts.

And for most all of you, stop assuming that I am making any assumptions here, I am not currently arguing for my God's existence, only a god. I am not saying that the big bang DEFINITLELY was what started it all.

I don't think Jesus is God or his son. But I do think there is a God. I always thought Atheists didn't believe in God? So I actually am not an Atheist. Why do so many Christians think that if people aren't Christian, then they don't believe in God? It's ridiculous.

Here sits my mountain before me.
A difficult trying climb
I shall not shirk this challenge.
This journey that is mine.
I have before me my equipment.
All that I will need.
I have my faith, my family,
And good friends indeed.
God grant me strength for the journey.
And time to stop and rest.
I know I will reach that summit,
I am sure I can stand the test.
And when I have climbed it fully
And I watch the sun as it sets.
I will marvel at my journey.
And feel no true regrets

I mean, some said the women would wear shorts or even a bathing suit. I guess I'm confused. Surely, you do not wear a bathing suit or shorts to church! Please clarify this for me. I'm just not getting the picture for some reason. At the church I grew up in, they just had a little thing they sprinkled you with. So I'm trying to envision this full immersion process.

What if you believe in wearing long skirts all the time?

When someone is really ugly to me it is human nature to want to "get revenge." But then again I feel guilty for thinking about doing it. Karma will catch up with me if I do it also. How do I let someone know that I won't take them being ugly to me but if I don't do anything I don't want them to think that I'am scared of them.

I just had a dream that I was trying on a suit. I remember thinking that the pants were too big. but upon trying them on they fit just right. Then, I was surprised to find that the jacket didn't fit at all.

If I created this scenario myself, how is it that I was surprised and did not know the outcome? Or is it possible that the dream came from somewhere else?
