Our human reason and words are not capable of understanding the mening of God. God is a human creation existing in our mental concious for a natural reason that we can´t yet explain. However we keep thinking of definitions to explain the universe and all that our Human senses are able to sense. Reality as it is, is much more complex. So don´t let your social human background define your reality. Because it is only a short dream. And if God is Boy or Girl don´t matter. God does not need to reproduce, therefore no sex can be attribuite, for some reason everyone thinks God is infinite? Why would that be?. But first ask yourself why does he exists in our reality or is it just a dream?

He isn't an imperfect man or woman, but the best of both and of all things. The term HE should never be interpreted as meaning that any human male is any greater than anyone else. Especially anyone who puts themselves on a pedestal and says they are an authority on God.

God is neither man nor woman.
God is the formless, genderless energy source of and process of life itself, which has the nature of duality. There is nothing that God cannot be, do or have.
God may have "appeared" as a man to men who, in a male-dominated society some 2000+ years ago, who would not have taken the words of a woman seriously.
Hmmmm...sounds familiar eh?

I believe God is neither, but has characteristics of both. God is spirit, and God is not human. We all try to understand and identify God through metaphor and allegory, "God is like..."but God isn't a man, that would be idol worship. Our insistence that God is male is narrow and limited. The Bible was written by humans, and does contain a human understanding of God. But the Bible is full of lots of images and ideas of God that go beyond just male. The Hebrew word for Spirit of God, Ruah, is feminine. But most people are comfortable with familiar images of God.

In the Christian religion, God has aspects of both sexes. Both men and women are made "in the image of God", meaning that the traits that make us human (other than sin) are all things that can be found in God.
When God interacts with humanity, however, the exchange is best understood as a male/female interaction, with God as the male, and humanity as the female!
Male: Initiates love, covers, penetrates, fills, gives life.
Female: Responds (to initiator), recieves love , is covered, is penetrated, is filled, bears life.
So, to really worship God, is to be in touch with your "feminine side".

" And God said, let us make man in our image, after our likeness;...So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him." ( Genesis 1:26-27)
" God is a spirit: and they that worship him must worship Him in spirit and in truth." ( John 4:24)
Man is a spirit being and lives in a body. He is made in the likeness of God.
GOD is a spirit ( John 4:24). So man must of necessity be a spirit.
Read your BIBLE and learn how to become more " spirit conscious so you will be better able to communicate with GOD.

God is a man. Read Genesis chapter 1
16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
26 ¶ And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. .
In verse 26 it says in "our image" the our image that is being spoken of is the human image of Jesus who is/was fully man

god was refered to a man because in the olden days, people lived in a patriarchal soceity meaning men are more importnant than women. of course they woulndt have it if the most important being and the maker of all was a woman.
Modern views, as well as mine, see God as an abstract being. neither man nor woman. an intangible being.

God made Adam in his image, then created Eve from his rib so Adam would have a wife. Adam therefore being a man, and in God's image, would leave you to deduce that God is a man.
